"We had high expectations ahead of our visit. We were served by about six different members of staff, each friendly and professional but with their minds elsewhere. The food was nice enough, but slightly under-seasoned to my taste and trying just a little too hard. The open finishing kitchen is a nice touch. Overall a decent experience but instantly forgettable. Think Pizza Express. With its main Street location it's very accessible but there are better options elsewhere in the village, just a few steps away."

Fresh food, fine dining experience, cuisine perfectly done, you better book as soon as possible to go there during weekends but it's definitely a restaurant to try.

From the moment we walked in, the staff were very welcoming and made us feel very relaxed. The food was delicious and excellent value for money at just over 30 Euros for a three or four course meal. Highly recommended as was the adjacent hotel. View menu

The best restaurant we had after 25 years of global traveling and tasting... Each and every dish was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed this top culinary experience. Very professional and pleasant service, pleasant seating with a see-through view on the talented chefs. Well worth a detour :-)

I had been here a year ago, and came back yesterday (April 2017). I can't say I was disappointed, since I wasn't, but surely less impressed than last year. The "Menu Gourmand" was good, although both fish dishes were somehow pretentious: only the duck was really good, and the overall price is probably a bit beyond the true value. One can come here but do not expect something out of ordinary.

We were on our way to check out a new canine addition to the family and decided that a lunchtime stop was in order. What a find, an elegant restaurant with a superb kitchen, great menu choice and wide selection of wines.Amuse bouches arrived, our selections were made and a aperos were ordered.Sublime. Every morcel was fresh and cooked to perfection, a local wine, Viognier, was chosen, which was excellent. All in all a culinary experience that had to be seen to be believed View menu

We have eaten here several times before and can report that the restaurant has continued to provide good food and service. The menu is interesting and allows the one to chose from a number of options for how many courses one wants to eat, rather than the usual set number of courses. This is ideal for those how find four courses to much for them. The dining room is pleasant and comfortable.Parking can sometimes be difficult in the immediate vicinity.I would recommend this restaurant.

This is the "no frills" subsidiary of a nearby three star (and high prices) restaurant. It offers an incredible three course menu with enough options to suit any palate, and affordable wines. Our waitress was a delightful east-european trainee who could recite by heart the composition of every dish. It's a fact: us frenchmen love to complain...when it's justified. We prefer to praise, though, and I doubt anyone could disagree with me in considering La Coulemelle a wonderful culinary experience.
