"We sat down for a snack after the big wonderful market and was first greeted by a female member of the staff that was really nice. However when the staff member with a long gray braid it turned ugly. Since we are in France we tried to politely speak French, but he chose to speak English to us which is completely up to him. After that, all of the customers except us, a group of young women, were met with smiles. We were ignored for better part of the meal, him being 'busy'. When trying to he t another menu it took more than 10 minutes. I was told off for asking about it, and then he smacked it down on the table. When I said thank you but no thank you he smacked the menu on the arm of my friend telling us off for 'not returning it properly' . All other groups who were not single women were treated very nicely. Food was uninspired but not bad. However someone who treats their customers like he does, and choose to do so should not be in the business of hospitality. I have never experienced such bad customer service."

What a lovely place. Delicious food, really quick service and could not be more convenient for the wonderful modern art museum.

Enjoyed great service and salads at lunch. Sizeable menu. Quick service. Also had takeaway sandwiches on our walks into the hills, making for easy picnics.

A busy intimate cafe/restaurant next to the Art Gallery, with good salads and burgers. i haven't found a place in the region that does other than great frites nor great coffee.

We had the Parisienne Omelette and Salmon panino. The sandwich was quite good but the omelette was overcooked and the consistency rubbery. The Cherry crepe dessert was quite good.

This is a quaint outdoor cafe with easy access on main Pablo Picasso Ave. in Ceret I had the Calalane salad with lettuce, olives, peppers and anchovies. Very good although only olive oil dressing, no balsamic flavoring. Others had 3-cheese panini and crepes (tomatoe, chèvre cheese a herbs) and all enjoyed.

Stephane and his wife run this lovely cafe next door to the modern art museum in Céret. The salads are the best. Good menu with quite a choice, the portions are big.I live in Céret and go there for lunch regularly, my grandson loves the crêpes. Don't hesitate to have lunch in the Citron Bleu.Ps. Do try the loo. It will surprise you. Clue, Stéphane and his wife are in love with India.

Having stopped in Ceret and had a wander around, we looked for somewhere to eat. We didn't want one of the many larger eateries so chose the Bleu Citron. Having sat down, the manager (?) came and took our order, had a little joke with us - asked if I wanted the salad Bien Cuit ( as that was how we had asked for my wife's meal). I had an excellent Catalan salad. Nice location right next door to the Musee d'art moderne. Interesting to read all the negative comments, we had no issues. Oh, and the loo was very interesting :)

The Saturday market in Ceret was packed and the weather was boiling when we stopped here for lunch so the sheer delight of sitting down in a lovely street bar, drinking a cold beer and listening to the buskers may have upped my rating!I had a seafood salad which had loads of smoked salmon and prawns and lettuce - not much else but then it didn't promise anything else on the menu and it was lovely.Mr B had meat kebab which I thought was brave of him but it was actually very nice mixed meat with a creamy dippy sauce, salad and chips. We fancied a pudding but were unable to attract the waiter (they were very busy) so we gave up and crossed to road to buy and ice cream cone instead. Great value...

We sat down for lunch and one of our party asked a simple question on what an item on the menu consisted of. The owner/waiter mumbled something and flounced off and then deliberately ignored us.We should have walked off at this point but were very hungry and it was market day. When we eventually got him back he made it clear that he thought we were looking for a cheap meal - We weren't. He then eventually delivered the food which was mediocre to say the least. He spent the rest of meal deliberately ignoring us and mutering and gesticulating towards us in front of other customers. We even had difficulty getting the bill and when he brought it said something like "Is that cheap enough for you?"...

"the ranking particularly flattering of this 2nd restaurant on 137 restaurants makes the customer's expectations always high. The risk of being disappointed is, then, great. It was not, quite, the case here, but a few weak points make the culinary experience below that was hoped. Also, let's be precise and circumstantial to better understand this view the room includes about twenty blankets, arranged in a small decorating room without charm, or identity. Obviously, a reflection must be made to make the place more friendly and warm at a time, attention is drawn to the dishes offered. the products used are fresh and local. it is clear that a special care is focused on the desire to offer a closed kitchen and bring producers of the region to a closure. But, what's really about the kitchen in the gallery? Well, the young chef, alone in the kitchen, masters his dishes and makes a point of honor to send plates to the visual and soothing works. Its cuisine is very tasty and generous. However, it is difficult not to say that taking risks is fairly low. in fact, offering a charcuterie plaque, however beautiful, it is, is not really part of the culinary art. idem for a perigonurdine salad that does not spill codes or taste buds. pastry, and more precisely, the mille-feuilles benefit from a satisfactory realization, but there again, we are far enough from what is done better and especially more original in this field the wines proposed are at very reasonable prices and always put to the honor of local products. - service is done with smile and efficiency. conclusion: of course, the skill of the gallery is to offer spectacular plates visually and which have flavors whose chef does not have to rougir. However, the expectation of something more consistent with the ranking is not fulfilled. you can only invite this restaurant to take the risk of a kitchen can be less beautiful but more engaged and bolder for taste buds. Certainly, this could lead, as incredible as that, to a decrease in the threeadvisor classification. Is the risk really worth the candle? Nothing is less certain..."
