"I wanted to love this place, and in many respects it is beautiful. the decor is vintage, sitting and outsight are wonderful, the old books fascinating. However, I chose this place because of its vegan offers and on the morning it was very limited availability. no homemade smoky beans, no homemade peanut butter, no turbulent latte. to breakfast, the limited options for a vegan. I had wonderful homemade sour dough, but for the price of Β£3.95, I expected more than one disc. I had a fabulous cocose and chocolate vegan cake and beautiful coffee. server was also not very knowledgeable about the place. I'd try again, because that was probably a free day. photos show the potential of this caffe that I think."

Amazing roadside find with lots of interesting books and outstanding coffee and lentil soup. Would have stayed longer had it not been so warm!

Cafe with clearly labelled vegan options. We had a couple of soups and an edamame ciabatta. There was also a vegan cake. Prices reasonable for Skye. The romantic vibe' in the toilet made me giggle.

Loved our stop here, a quirky sun filled space surrounded by book shelves, reminded me of an old school library. Friendly staff, basic vegan options nicely prepared. I had home made beans on toast and delicious oat milk chai latte. View menu

Stopped here for lunch mid-ride. We had spicy carrot and lentil soup with fresh bread to start, a fantastic tofu (home made) and rice noodle salad shared with a falafel and pea humus ciabata. All washed down withproper coffee and a vegan fruit cake.

this place is an absolutely fantastic place! I could not recommend it enough for anyone who visits skye. from outside disappointing, but the best eating and coffee I had on the island, and the personal is as friendly as they will find. I didn't want to go, and I'll be back!

there were some vegan sandwich options, a roasted pepper option or a edamame bean option. both were really nice and served in a ciabatta. there was a vegan cake option as well as not milk milk for the coffee available. overall had a really nice small holding place for lunch with great view. the place itself is very eclectic and original, I would like to drink and read there all day. Unfortunately, the vegan options were not good to breakfast, it was only too toast with patte or erdnussbutter. somewhat disappointed and hungry. no vegan cakes. updated by previous review on 2021-09-27

excellent coffee shop/tea room/restaurant/bookshop/divine pieces/all of the above mentioned wee place. stopped, in the load next door to get veg and thought we would dive for coffee. ends up with a stack of pancakes (divine) and a full brekky (fantastic). chatty owners, quirky set-up and tasty eating. a must for local and tourist alike. we're coming back!
