"The definition of below average. Food was okay, a bit flavourless, but cooked. Dauphinois style potatoes didn't really work with the carvery. Mash was dry and lacked anything. Beef was overcooked. Gammon actually popped and saved the meal from being 1 star. Service was bordering on incompetent. Asked for tomato ketchup and the server forgot to get it. Went to get some and the manager stood chatting in the kitchen rather than bringing my ketchup for the youngest's rapidly cooling food. After I got the ketchup the server returned to the table, empty handed, to ask how things were. Unbelievable."

I was hoping for some vegan options at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised to find they had vegan burgers, chicken, bacon, and cheese. The nachos were also delicious.

Great location for us while we were staying at St Ives. We had two meals here and found the staff really polite and helpful. The meals were the usual good standard except for the second meal when it came out warm.

I had a great dining experience with very quick service and a friendly staff at this restaurant. There were many options to choose from on the menu and the food was delicious. I even had Christmas Day lunch here and the service was exceptional.

We absolutely enjoyed the restaurant - the service and food were great. We had reserved a table, but since we had kids with us, it wasn't really an ideal spot for us. When we asked if we could sit somewhere else, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Avoid the festive menu, our dirty roastie, came out clean so after mentioning to the manager, she took it back and topped up with bits of sausages, what tasted like rubber, they did it wrong no apologies whatsoever. We aren't going back to this place at all.

For Dessert Abs a popped was not disappointed. I had the vegan Black Forest sundae abs loved the cherries. Also the staff was really helpful to check the wines that were vegan. I note that there was a separate meatless menu that had a range of vegetarian and vegan options. It included loaded pommes, a burger and desserts.

I was not disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I tried the vegan black forest sundae and loved the cherry topping. The staff were very helpful in confirming which items were vegan. I also noticed they had a separate meatless menu with a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, including loaded fries, burgers, and desserts.

We had a great experience at Brewers Fayre, which offers a nice selection of food. We decided to have breakfast there since the kids eat for free, making it an affordable meal for both my wife and me. The buffet-style menu had a variety of fresh dishes and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant has a spacious car park, so parking was not an issue. The location is convenient and we definitely plan on returning.

We stayed nearby so came in on the first night as we were a little tired and didn't want McDonald's, which is next door. Ordered the garlic bread and the cauliflower bites, garlic bread was average, cauliflower bites were really good, crispy and full of flavour. For mains, we ordered a veggie burger, chicken burger, lentil hotpot and smothered no chicken and shared some loaded fries I think. Mains were average to be honest. Wouldn't go again, but it was convenient for us. Prices are average, the guy serving was really nice and provided a very good service. There's lots of parking here too.

"There was one vegan main course clearly marked on the menu and 5 tapas options, which we sampled all of between us, and each one was absolutely delicious. The tofu on a bed of satay flavoured noodles was amazing, as was the smoked sweet potato dish (two of these together would be generous enough to make up one main meal, but we were hungry so we had 7 between the two of us. Every dish was beautifully presented and imaginatively put together with a delicate balance of flavours, textures and colour. There were a couple of vegan desserts available (including chocolate sorbet but we both opted for the blueberry and pistachio cheesecake... It was honestly the best vegan pudding I've ever had! We ate at an inside table which looked out over the pretty Porthmeor Bay (I think every table, inside or out, has a great sea view. Covid safety measures were carefully put in place to ensure everybody's safety (only one group at each large table and clear entrances and exits. The staff and the chefs were extremely attentive, the music was chilled and the atmosphere very relaxing. For the money, this restaurant punches far above its weight. The app won' t let me give 5 stars but this is most definitely a 5 star eating experience! Reservations were hard to get at the very peak of the season but they do eventually become available- well worth persevering with the online booking system and checking every few minutes until one comes up."
