"the afternoon was good, although the sandwiches were a bit cold, as if they were just coming out of the refrigerator. I had written a little notiz to say it was my mother birthday, but this may have been overlooked as it was not recognized / no one wished her happy birthday. good enough food for the price!"

We enjoyed the food we ordered, but found it to be expensive for the portion size.

Lovely restaurant and atmosphere. Food was average. Prices are quite high for the food offered.

Very nice food, had the turkey club sandwich. A little bit quiet considering 12.00 on a Thursday at bluewater. Great service!! Yes would go there again!

we waited for a relative to join us and she ran late. the employees were welcoming and understanding. we didn't feel any hurry at all and nothing was too much annoyed. will return soon.

Lovely live singer on the piano. Was a real Sunday treat, my mum and sister shared the roast beef sharer which the leftovers were boxed up for us and I had the 10oz rib eye steak and nothing was left over.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed sitting outside, which was lovely. The only issue we had was not the fault of Brown's. The set menu that The Fork advertised when we made the reservation was not the same as the menu offered at Brown's. View menu

60th birthday dinner. really fantastic. and surprisingly good value for money. had an alternative menu offer. lancashire hotpot and my brother had steak. service friendly and not intrusive. it felt not rushed and eating was sensational. beautiful music in the background.

The afternoon tea was good, though the sandwiches were a little cold like they’d just come out of the fridge. I had written a little note to say it was my mum’s birthday but this may have been overlooked as it wasn’t acknowledged/nobody wished her happy birthday. Good enough food for the price!

"I booked originally for 6pm and had to change to 6:30pm due to traffic. I hadn’t confirmed The new booking so the host could not find a booking for us. It was my father’s birthday and I was really worried I had messed it up. The host, was fine and was still able to get us seated, we were very pleased with that. We were given a choice of tables, and as a larger guest, I was able to be seated comfortably. We’re we’re served by Tom. S ,for the evening. OMG! What a charming and delightful waiter. He was attentive, had great banter and held a wonderful conversation, wished my father a happy birthday, and tended to my wine being filled up all evening. He made us feel wonderful, and made me feel like a million dollars. The food was absolutely superb, French onion soup was perfectly seasoned, the croutons were Devine along with a salty cheese. Loaded with sweet onions: The liver parfait my husband had was delicious he said. My dad and husband had the beef bourguignon, and I had the chicken, gratin with a side of dauphinois potatoes… Again… absolutely perfect. The service here was top notch, and Tom.S made our first experience at Côte the best. He is a first class waiter, that I would compare to the the likes of The Ritz and The Savoy. Fantastic personality, and very well groomed and presented. What a fabulous and marvellous team member you have there. Cherish that! We will definitely return, and recommend this restaurant highly. 5 Service from Tom.S and the chef."
