"My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. The bratkartoffeln I ordered was not triple roasted as I requested, and I only received two pieces of meat without any cream sauce. "This was the first English pub my wife and I visited four years ago (in 2015) during a small road trip in England. In March 2019, we had just one day to enjoy something special, so we decided to return to this place. After a flight from Denmark on Friday, we drove the 2.5 hours from Stansted to the pub and then headed home to Denmark on Saturday. You won't find a more welcoming atmosphere or a better host than what this pub offers. This definitely won't be our last visit to the Cross Keys Inn, especially with their excellent food and cask beer."

"We hadn't booked but we're warmly welcomed. We had 3 courses as it was our first time. Great shaslick, amazing tray of chutneys with poppadoms. We were very impressed with the mains. Naan was tasty and not burnt or crispy. Good saag aloo too. Home made style caramel ice cream and kulfi. Was £30 a head for 3 courses and poppadoms with 1 alcoholic drink each. Great value but also some of the loveliest service we've had. Also, lovely hot towels at end, unusual nowadays. Thank you. We'll be back."

"The service and food at The Vine were exceptional! We had booked the restaurant for a Hen Party with 32 people on Saturday 29th July. Megan greeted me when I arrived early to set up, and she was very accommodating when I requested a few adjustments to the table set up. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The food was delicious, served hot and in generous portions. We had pre-ordered from a 2-course set menu with plenty of options for both meat and plant-based diets. Even the picky eaters in our group were satisfied. Overall, the service, food, and decor were amazing, thanks to Davood and his team for making the Bride to Be's day unforgettable. The cocktails were also excellent. We will definitely be returning, but maybe not in such a large group next time."

"First visit to this local restaurant and it was lovely. Staff all very welcoming, professional and helpful. Food was of an excellent standard and quality, we couldn't fault any of it. My husband and neice said that you didn't really need a knife for the beef as it was so tender. As she can be picky then that was indeed high praise from her. Presentation was lovely and the portion sizes were more than ample. Will definitely be returning. Well done to all at Zamani's."

"on Thursday is a call for lunch. Greeting was pleasant and efficient and we were sitting fast. service was also pleasant when a little slow (they were not busy) and eating was very nice, hot and good portion sizes obviously all cooked home to order as well. not the cheapest, but still good value. will I have come back? Yes, next time can try an dinner. it is worth a try if they have not been before/for one."
