"My European colleagues and I were in Uster for work when I spotted an Argentinian steakhouse. As a Brazilian who loves Argentinian culture and gaucho barbecue (Argentina, Uruguay and south of Brazil), I convinced them to try it. I had enjoyed my honeymoon in Buenos Aires and knew the food would be great. On our first visit, the kitchen was closed, so we returned the next day, at 7PM, only to be disappointed. The waiter informed us there were no seats inside but suggested the garden. When we said we wanted to eat, he warned it would rain soon (it didn’t). I insisted we didn’t mind and ordered Quilmes beers. Strangely, the waiter brought the payment machine immediately, which was unusual in my years in Europe. When I asked again about dining, the waiter claimed it wasn’t possible due to the impending rain and lack of indoor seats. His excuses felt insincere and reminded me of dubious ones I’d heard before. It seemed they either distrusted us, thinking we might try to scam and run without paying or didn’t want to serve us, despite other tables being attended to. This was humiliating and frustrating, as we had the means to pay. I was extremely disappointed, unable to enjoy a good chorizo, some papa fritas, and maybe an alfajor. I refrain from giving a one-star review out of respect for the potential quality of the food and my admiration for Argentine culture, but I can’t hide my frustration. This is sad, as I remember a colleague from the Swiss company mentioning how good the restaurant is."

Best place to eat in Uster. In Summer on a terrace with amazing view, in Winter inside in a cosy environment. Food is delicious whatever we ate so far. Desert, I cannot resist their homemade apple pie with vanilla ice-cream! Unbeatable.

Once more the restaurant argentina was absolutely great. Starting from the friendly staff to the great view to the well prepared food. Everything we ate was very tasty. Empanadas and bife de lomo are our favourite dishes. Highly recommanded. View menu

Waiting time of more than 1 1/2 hours is definitely too long, the cooking levels ordered were completely wrong for all 4 people. (note photo, medium was ordered) this meat could easily be sold as boiled meat. Potato wedges over salted and still hard. Very, very bad... the location would be awesome but unfortunately the rest doesn't fit. Once and never again!!

Five quarters of an hour waiting time, although there were only four people present besides us (10 people), is not possible. Food good, cooking time of a meat not as desired. Value for money is not correct. Have consumed for CHF 700.00. The otherwise nice waiter didn 't ask if everything was ok.
