"This pub has undergone multiple changes in recent years, pre COVID it had a long term manager/owner in place then a shift in the team running it and it suffered as a result. Now with the person in charge making the short jump from the North Pole (East Malling) it is happily and rapidly regaining much of its previous appeal. A welcome shift indeed, long may it last. This pub has atmosphere and charm and plenty of parking now with good food, plenty of parking and friendly staff. I have visited it over many years and am pleased to say that will continue. I recently had lunch with my son at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was lovely. I will definitely be returning soon. The price per person is between £10-20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Pot Pie. There is plenty of parking available, with options for free parking in the lot. View menu

This was my first time visiting this pub, and I had an amazing meal here after a walk with the Teston hikers. The service and food were top-notch, and not a single person in our group of 22 had any complaints. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. The price per person is between £10-£20, and the food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 rating. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking options on site.

This pub is located in a nice area with a large garden, although the garden itself appears a bit neglected. The staff are friendly and the food is typical pub fare, but it is tasty and seems to be made on the premises (unlike many other places these days). However, the prices are a bit high - £17 for a burger and chips is quite expensive, even in today's economy. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere are all good, but the pricing is a drawback. Plenty of parking is available.
