"This is my first review, but I had to break my code of silence to give Sainbioz my unequivocal praise.Delicious food, prix fix menu..(the famous french "formule") available and excellent customer service in a cozy ambiance! We were looking for a nice small restaurant for a romantic dinner and we nailed it!I was glad that we picked this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary.APPETIZER: I had Pumpkin risotto (famous italian "risotto alla zucca") with grated parmigiano reggiano cheese. (It was fantastic. Beautiful orange color, served in a cute, simple deep plate)My dining partner tried the Crevette and he really enjoyed them.MAIN COURSE:We both had the entrecôte. I cannot ask for a better piece of steak. It was pure perfection! It was RARE just the way we like it. It cut like butter and it was not **** at all. DESSERT:We were quite full at this stage so we shared a Brownie which was recommended to us by our server. This brownie was very tasty, perfect texture, served with a mix of nuts and vanilla ice cream. Our server, Lola was awesome - super helpful, led us in the right direction with our dishes! If you get a chance, make sure to chat with the Chef. He's the young man in the kitchen. We saw him shaking hands with customers, and I'm pretty sure he owns the place.Overall, I thought it was an excellent value for the quality we received. It truly is a great place to have a special dinner.Merci! We will be back!"

Had dinner in this little restaurant with my brother, we both liked it a lot :) The food was served quickly, service was good and really friendly too. The chef came out to bring us his signature dish - dessert.

lovely, genuine, friendly staff.amazing 4 course brunch: croissants/bread with home-made jam, egg/bacon/rocket bagel with delicious new potatoes and an apple/cabbage/coriander/mint salad, delicious home-made lemon cake as well as freshly squeezed juice and unlimited coffee/hot chocolate. 23 euros a head but well worth it.cute decor to boot, this place is a must-eat in Nantes

What a truly delightful place. Small but beautifully ambient. Quirky portraits with bird heads on walls. Waitress was adorable. Helpful. Fun. Food best burger I've ever had. All organic. Salad fresh and zingy. Puddings gorgeous. Upside down cheesecake. Beautifully presented. A couple having a meal with their chuahuahua, paws on the table. So French. X was a perfect experience and affordable.

My partner and I have been here for the best burgers we’ve eaten. Sadly we didn’t take a picture but! we’ve returned for brunch and again had a really delicious experience. The service is always so homey and kind. Everything they serve is specially made and beautifully presented. The coffee, salty and sweet selections were worth the price. We left full and happy! Merci We’ll be back for more burgers! Our favorites! À la prochaine! Merci!

"When in Nantes at the last-minute, I used my TA app on my iPhone to find something great near me. I called, and the person I spoke to couldn't have nicer, and said "come on over". I did. The restaurant was virtually empty, despite the fact that a couple of other places I called were booked solid and had no more tables available. The "acceuil" (welcome) couldn't have been nicer. The choices on offer were a fixed formula of 2 entrées, 2 mains, and 2 desserts. I was told that this was as they use only fresh products. I chose a main of cheese/pesto stuffed ravioli with a cream, tomato and cilantro sauce. It arrived quickly, but was maybe room temperature. The hope of fresh cilantro giving a "twist" to the dish, was there, but a bit in the background. I was a bit disappointed, as I couldn't identify the ravioli as being "home-made". In fact, nothing seemed to be fresh/hand chopped, like the tomatoes. I had the bread pudding for dessert, and it arrived also room temperature, was clearly "home-made" with pears, and clearly bread chunks on the top, with a swirl of chocolate for garnish. It was a bit dry, clearly not made very recently, and the inside (where the bread aspect should have been well-infused), was not throughout. The top of the "cake" had hard, dry bread chunks on it. My impression was that perhaps it was a "slow day", and they weren't putting much effort into it by serving something freshly cooked. There was only one other diner in the place. On the other hand, the serveuse could not have been nicer or more helpful. They feature an interesting international, short wine list with everything available by the glass. The dinner menu (on the blackboard on the wall), looked interesting. I think it merits trying again, if they turn on the stove and start serving food hot off the burner, as the interesting menu seasoning is attractive. Great service, but the food was mediocre this day."
