"I recently visited a coffee shop that I had heard about but had never been to before. I ordered two coffees, one black Americano and one latte, and was surprised when the bill came to over £7.50. That's pricier than what I usually find in London. While the staff were lovely and very efficient, I don’t think I’ll be returning. Overall, I would rate the food 3/5, the service 4/5, and the atmosphere 3/5."

Cyclist friendly cafe which delivers great quality food with fantastic service. My mates and I cycle down from Bridgend regularly because of the bacon buttie and great coffee

I visited Remo's during the week and was disappointed with the chicken curry. It was nothing special; there was no poppadom or naan bread, just a bowl with half rice and half curry. While it tasted good, I don't think it was worth £14.

Absolutely gorgeous food and ice cream. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. There is optional indoor or outdoor seating are. Child and dog friendly there is even a dog water bowl be the entrance door. Would definitely recommend. Please not the fries and sausage is a child's potion. View menu

The meal was quite pricey for what we received. It's certainly a challenge for small entrepreneurs right now, but nearly £13 for a salad feels excessive. We often return to places like this. The staff was very friendly, though. Overall, I'd rate the food 3/5, the service 5/5, and the atmosphere 3/5.

We were given a lovely welcome, orders taken promptly and expertly. The day before our booking we asked if risotto might be on the menu as our birthday girl would like it, and because we asked for it, we got it! Yay! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and the wine was good too! Thank you to all the staff on duty last evening, we'll definitely be back

"Booked a table for 6.45pm for 3 people, arrived at 6.48pm (I know we were 3 mins late). As soon as we walked through the door the waitress said that we would have to order straight away as they had a large table coming in at 7pm. We were shown to our table where the waitress asked for our drinks order which we gave. Over the next 9 minutes the waitress came over 3 times to ask if we were ready to order, we weren’t ready to order by this time obviously as we had only sat down 9 minutes before hand. Then she came over again to tell us if we didn’t order now there would be over an hour wait for food. We asked why they didn’t tell us this when we booked and she said it wasn’t her that took the call. She said that if we weren’t late then it would have been fine, I explained that we were 3 minutes late, if we were really late I would have understood. Even if we would have arrived early, we probably still would have had to order within about 5 minutes of arriving. The whole thing made us feel uneasy and that we weren’t really welcome at the restaurant. We left without having food or drinks. A real disappointment. The ‘big table’ that was coming in still hadn’t arrived by 7.08pm so I’m wondering if they all had to order within the 5 minute time frame too? It’s a shame that this has happened, as we were trying it again, being local, after the last time we came a few years ago and there was a bug in my food that had obviously been cooked in the sauce. We will definitely not ever return here again or recommend"
