"I am very happy with the food I had for the first time at nr. 35 mackenzie walk. it looked very good and tasted even better. I was not too sharp on the sausages in the house breakfast, but everything else was delicious and cooked for perfection. beautiful setting, both inside and outside, but we felt that the staff was a little distracted. maybe a stressful Sunday? service was fast, although the restaurant was quite empty. the prices were a little high £13 for eggs royal in a casual room seemed like much, but we had a nice time anyway. all in all, recommended. go back."

A good restaurant for a casual meal. The food was good, service a little slow and my salad (and our drinks) was served after the main dish. It was not busy, so not sure why the service was a bit out. They were polite and quick to fix.

Typical Cafe Rouge Fayre. Good food at reasonable prices. Beautiful water side location in sight of the hose station, but away from the crazy crowd. Unfortunately, we waited for our main course for over 45 minutes because the employees chat in a corner and the cook had a cigarette outside. This was corrected and we got a significant discount on our meal, so everything was good at the end.

if they sit outside the views are quite, but the noise of the construction work carried out close to completely ruin the vibe. in terms of eating I tried the roasted gnocchi with brunettes and truffles, which was quite delicious. my kumpels tried the fried chicken, vegetarian burger and mac and cheese, which were also decent, but the gnocchi definitiw stood out! tested the nz pinot noir, who was fabulous! long island icestee was not the best. I personally like the prices of food and I would definitely visit again (hopefully at a weekend to avoid the building noise.)
