"Very good lunch with friends we had not seen for sometime. We chose the set menu so couldn't use Gourmet card except for drinks but still good value. Only quibble my husband was told he could have a sweet and main in place of the starter and main but we discovered later that he had been charged the £3 surcharge for the sweet! We will certainly be back in the New Year."

It was OK, but not great. The staff were ok, but the restaurant got busy very quickly and the level of service waned somewhat. My wife and I had the salads; both were ok but not brilliant. Overall, an ok experience, but I did leave feeling slightly disappointed. I would dine in cafe Rouge again but won’t be rushing back.
