Cafe Tamra - Menu

Had a lovely experience at Cafe Tamra, really good menu with a good variety of vegan dishes. Loved their cappuccino

Very good food, good atmosphere but expensive. The menu has a good selection of breakfast brunch options it was hard to decide what to have!

Good basic fayre for breakfast all the healthy stuff on the Northcote road. Busy on sunny weekends!! Was first in so lacked atmosphere but staff were welcoming. View menu

Hard to fault really. Pleasant, friendly service. Nicely curated menu and very good presentation. A bit rigid in not allowing any modifications though. Probably the best breakfast on Northcote Road otherwise.

Foragers brunch was amazing, definitely recommended, you’ll never go wrong with chicken and avo. Their berry smoothie was good too, but the pancakes were a lil hard, not as fluffy as imagined… be there early to avoid the queue especially on weekends!

Lovely café with good food and service! We got there around noon and we were lucky to get a table outside. They have a good healthy menu with really good coffee and espresso. It’s a good place for dog owners to go to. We saw a couple of dogs in the outdoor seating area and they had a bowl of water to stay cool. View menu

Tamra is our local go to for an all day brunch or just a quick bite/coffee.. We recently had brunch for lunch, and it was as always effortlessly good. The food was absolutely yummy, the service was friendly, and the ingredients were fresh. I love how brunch can be enjoyed all day, and it was made even better with a glass of fizz. Had heard great things about this place and the food was pretty good, although my poached eggs were undercooked and quite watery. My main complaint is that while there was a sign that warned there would be a £2 charge per outside table (payable before you even sit down), after we queued for twenty minutes, we were charged £4 becase apparently a table for 4 is two tables pushed together. This lack of transparency and slightly crafty reasoning was enough to leave a sour taste in the mouth that no artisan sausage, however posh, could overcome. They'll be charging to use the cutlery next.

I really wanted to like this place but sadly it didn't meet up to expectations. The staff were all very polite to me but service was incredibly slow and a majority of people were having to come inside to pay just to get the attention to be able to pay. They were obviously rushed off their feet so I do feel for them as lots of people were complaining. In terms of the good I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and a side of hash browns. The hash browns were expensive for the number that their were (in pic) however tasty and nicely seasoned. The quesadilla was nice in flavour and the chorizo really yummy but the fried egg inside was overcooked and more like a well done scrambled egg and the avocad... View menu
