"We ate here twice during our recent short break to Normandy.Initially we were put off by the pink/purple colour scheme that made the place look like a bar/night club but the Tripadvisor reviews persuaded us to try it!We were a family of 5 plus 2 dogs and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We do speak basic French but one member of staff speaks perfect English. The children's menu was excellent with big portions (we had to ask if my daughter's moules/frites was from the main menu as it was such a good size). The first time my husband and I both ate from the 3 course set menu which had a good variety of choice. The second time we had the 3 course casserole menu which included a choice of any of the casseroles from the main menu (we both had the veal in a mushroom, cream and cider sauce). Puddings were delicious.I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will eat here again next time we are in Cabourg."

Very average food lacking in taste. Service was good and staff are helpful but you can get far better food elsewhere in Cabourg.

Don't heavy on the entrees, the casseroles are tremendous! Great Normandy food! C'est tout! I don't think they have many desserts ordered.

They serve traditional French food and they're special meal is the "casserole" which looks a bit like the boeuf bourguignon, only it comes in different tastes and even meats (we took the duck casserole which was excellent). You find good value for money in this restaurant.

Now this is an original restaurant with a modern decoration which could lead you to believe that perhaps it's not worth eating there - unless you like the pinkie decoration! But what a surprise, the waitress are very kind, elegant and attentiveI strongly recommend this restaurant

Lounge spirit associated with a modern/terroir mix cooking make this restaurant very special but nice at the same time. Food was just excellent and home made. I advise "casseroles" with a good wine. Prices are acceptable for this quality of food and service. Really an excellent compromise between local and modern cooking.

This restaurant specialises in offering all sorts of different types of casseroles for meat, fish and vegetables that comes in a pot that is set down at your table . The staff were always attentive and helpful. Again a wide variety of choices from fixed menus to a la carte. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and food for lunch and good value

We wanted to have dinner and as our hotel had recommended this restaurant the previous evening we decided to give it a go. The decor is ultra modern with grey suede walls and lots of bright pink. My husband ordered the fois gras starter which he was convinced was out of a tin. We both had beef casserole for mains. A saucepan full of gravy with very large chunks of beef. It really was dreadful. Would never go back and we can only recommend that you don't either!

We enjoyed a lovely meal with my gf and her mother last weekend.Came there for dinner because of tripadvisor score and we were not disappointed at all. We were quite lucky to arrive a bit before all the reservations because afterwards it was a non-stop queueing.Took a mojito cocktail (strawberry) and it was excellent ...and then we had a few burgers. Chose the foiegras one and it was very very tasty... maybe regret I ordered a bit too cooked.Anyways we had such a lovely soirée in here. Service did help as well.Recommend the place
