"we go every year after cardigan, and now the ferry inn will be on our “must visit” list. we took our pretty new retired greyhound with us and all the employees were so understanding and helpful. we sat on the deck, as it is quite stunning and the sun was outside! I believe that the manager owner even brought over a umbrella for our table, as elba not good in the heat, to not mention the numerous fusses. eating was fantastic, I had seafood stew and my friend gammon, we really enjoyed the whole experience. to round it off, poppit sans is just on the road, as we were finished, we drove there to the walk. a fantastic place, with fantastic people!"

"A great concept..Pizza in a very large wigwam..what's not to like. Lovely place to eat with a great atmosphere to it. Fire pit in the middle and electric heaters on the outside tables...you won't get cold. The pizza was some of the best I've ever had..thin crust base with great toppings all cooked to perfection. I can definitely recommend the Foccia garlic bread as an extra. ...and to top it all off a good selection of local beer, IPA, Cider and also a wine menu. We'll be back...."

"Had two fantastic meals one on Saturday 30th September and Mondays 2nd October, the Welsh sirloin steak was amazing it melted in your mouth, please give the chef who was on our compliments. "Staff were lovely and went out their way, room were extremely plush minus a boiler issue or two but nothing serious. Menu had no variety for the location, only one fish dish as well. Menu did not match the quality of the rooms. Not millions of eating places locally, especially on a wet night, so eating in the hotel more would have been good. Also food too expensive for what it was. Would have said 4 stars but biggest problem was cleaners left bedroom door open with a balcony room, so three others rooms could have accessed the room all day. Would go again but for a drink, as the staff seemed friendly and the view : Noteworthy details: Need to improve restaurant menu in most aspects and price."

"It was 2pm. The restaurant was clearly busy which isn’t their fault, in fact usually a good sign. However, where our experience failed was the fact we were stood, visibly, at one of two entrances for over fifteen minutes with no one to tell us how long the wait might be (bearing in mind this was at the immediate top of a steep flight of stairs and others were behind us) and then when we did get seated we were sat for fifteen minutes not getting any attention from clearly overstretched waiting staff and witnessing other tables experiencing the wrong order but then they were also getting forgotten too. We decided to leave as this did not bode well for a relaxing eating experience with a family. It would appear the kitchen and serving staff were overstretched and not being managed particularly well at this busy time. Lack of communication is always a bad experience for customers, especially with a young family. I hope in the future this place can get it right during busy periods as the location and facilities seemed great."
