"This is our favourite restaurant in Les Angles. It's not the cheapest, but the quality of food is of the highest level. It's location is great for a mid-morning hot chocolate (a l'ancien) whilst watching the ski schools on the petit prince slopes (where if...you are lucky you might also get a warm fairy cake to accompany your hot chocolate) or great as a lunch time spot instead of eating on the slopes simply ski down to the village and grab a bite to eat here before heading up again in the telecabine or the telesiege in the centre of the village. Style of the food is typical regional dihes (escalivade, escargots catalans). The meat is high quality great steaks. The staff are friendly and efficient, but it can get busy in high season and we would always recommend booking even out of season."

Food and service were absolutely great. I recommend making a reservation, since it is well visited. It was nice to see the food being freshly made.

good service, amazing dishes. Nice deer stew, great steak. good value for money. Just next to the ski slopes so when it is sunny you can enjoy their terrace.

We didn't realise we were just super lucky to get a table without a reservation. We found out a few days later when we tried to do the same again. Definitely book ahead to avoid disappointment. This was the best value restaurant we found in...the area friendly service from our young waiter, great food, warm and cosy and well priced.

We find this a really nice place to sit on the terrace and supervise our kids on the lower slopes. An ideal meeting place and excellent location for after ski drinks. Never eaten there but out of ten for beer, service, hot wine, value...for money and of course hot chocolate. Very friendly staff, English spoke, child and family friendly. View menu

This restaurant overlooks the lake and had lovely views of the mountains beyond. We had the menu and both chose the grilled mixed seafood mussels, big prawns, squid, clams and razor clams and then the faux filet and chips. The portions are extremely...generous. The seafood had that lovely caramelised barbecue flavour as did our oz steaks which were perfectly cooked. The chips were scrummy! We just about had room for the desserts from the very tempting list. All the other diners plates looked equally generous and appetising. We shall definitely make a return visit.

Chez Antoine is a very decent local restaurant. Antoine himself, pictured in many of the photos around the walls, greets all the guests and the service is very good. the restaurant specialises in meat, which they hang themselves, and they serve in extremely good portions...and overall the menu is very good value. It was the start of Cep season so we had a started of ceps with garlic, a delicious rough country pate (on the house) and lots of bread. Then the traditional Catalan meatballs and a large steak with a baked potato. Very satisfying. For dessert, fruit salad and limoncello (the limoncello in a bottle on the house) and a very decent bottle of red wine (about and the bill was less than...

"I'm a regular here, and I'm not the only one lol! This place is always packed, it's both a locals haunt and a place where well-advised tourists end up. I meet my friends here, I meet my colleagues here, I meet half the town here...And it draws out the locals every evening with good reasons! So, first off: Convenience. Just on the bank of the river, this place has it's own parking.Next, atmosphere: Clean shabby chic orientated decor, open central kitchen, usually pretty crowded, Italian chef.... This place has got the atmosphere where it should be for modern tasty Italian cuisine.Service: populated by hipster and punkette style waiters and waitresses, they might not be warm nor welcoming, but they polite and competent. The service is prompt and the wine suggestions correct.Food: my FAVOURITE part! I love Italian, and I just appreciate a place that does it right so much! Simple, clean, modern and tasty!Their pizzas are beyond a doubt the best in the region, special mention for the Bianca and the Cosi. Their pasta is mouth watering. But I always find the best on their menu to be their dish of the day (for example duck filet with apricots, tuna steak with Italian sauce, roast filet mignon...) and their veal schnitzel. In fact I am a regular to this place almost solely because of their veal schnitzel. Just gorgeous!Oh and their desserts.... Are just delicious, special mention for the raspberry-lemon-white chocolate parfait!Once again, this is not a budget eat-all-you-can low end pizzeria. The prices are midrange. But the cuisine is authentic and impeccable, the setting very pleasant, and it is definitely a place you will come back to after trying it once."
