"We sat outside while we ate and the ambient is great because of the amphitheatre right next to us. I ate home made spaghetti with pesto and they tasted very good. I also had a chocolate dessert which was delicious. I would reccomend to all...that love to eat veggies or need a gluten free meal. The service was just fine and the owner was very kind and good to talk to. They were both speakinh english very well which was rare in our whole trip in France. Would reccomend."

we were very happy to find this restaurant next to the Roman amphitheater that used local products and had provided two vegan main dishes, the day we went, very rare in arles!

we always try to call when we're in arles. I think it's a good idea to check the opening times at this time of the year, as I know it's not open all week, but usually weekends. I love eating at Chez...Felix and I'm sure his Biriani menu will be better every year.

We had pasta. It was tasty but we felt our plates could have been larger and fuller... for the price we paid. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would recommend it to vegetarians and vegans, to Indian food lovers too. If you’re hungry,...order a menu or you won’t have enough of a single dish!

You would think this place would be a tourist trap BUT NO. The service friendly and when waitress could not understand english-Felix came out and explained menu was funny and very kind and even how be cooked bull stew-which was amazing ! How this place...could ever get a poor review is beyond me.

I think what you are paying for here is the location. Directly across from the arena. While the people we dealt with were lovely the food unfortunately did not measure up. In a city of so many great restaurants we had far better meals for...not too much more elsewhere. Not a bad experience but I think you could do better.

We went to trip with my girlfriend to Arles and we came by the restaurant. It was gluten free, with a lot of vegetables and a spicy gorgeous curry chicken! My girlfriend also injoyed with her pasta with pesto. After launch we had super desert...with a view of an Roman empire aphitheatre it’s worth a try if you are in Arles!

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
