"5/5. We went based on the fact that it was a traditional Spanish seafood restaurant serving traditional seafood with no frills, lots of locals eating with us which is always a good sign and a lovely view of the beach and we didn’t need to book .We had the veg paella, and king prawn paella, Loved both, and 1st time to try the traditional Spanish versions which I loved. Some reviews moan about waiter response time, try chilling, what’s the rush, I just ordered a few beers and spent the time chatting to family and enjoying the atmosphere, we will all die eventually, why rush anything , just stop treating traditional eateries like it’s McDonald’s, chat to your family, tell your wife she’s beautiful while you’re waiting, I will certainly be back soon and would recommend, much better than eating in the town square Muchas Gracias"

El mejor pil pil de Mijas. La comida es estupenda, justo en la playa, simplemente modernizaría un poco el equipamiento del restaurante y será una maravilla.

Chiringuito típico de playa,buena comida y buenos precios,además estás en la mismísima playa. RecomendableHe vuelto ha estar en Semana Santa, sigue siendo de lo mejor que hay en La Cala, comida muy buena y los precios siguen siendo imbatibles.

Quizás el lugar más rápido en sentarte y atenderte aunque haya mucha gente. La comida está muy buena y muy atentos. Es un lugar muy familiar y muy rollo chiringuito. Unlike most restaurants in this part of La Cala, there were more Spanish voices than English, which suggested to us that it would be a good venue. We both like Paella, and this had a better selection than most in the region, having both a mixed meat and chicken option (Glo does not eat fish a problem in this region). It was very good and reasonably priced. We go to La Cala two or three times during our stay in the region and will go here again.

Made reservation 2 days before with no problem Sunday lunch st 1.30 for 7 adults and 4 children. Sat on the terrace next to ghe beach. Paella for 5 plus assorted seafood which ate first and chicken escalopes for the children. The Paella when arrived was freshly cooked, tasty and plenty with a good amount of seafood. Doggy bag required to finish yesterday. Service very good bearing in mind the staff were running everywhere. First class establishment. Would go back but need to sample other Establishments
