"This is now a Turkish restaurant. Lez et at The Comus Inn, Camblesforth about 20mins from Thorne. The bar was packed when we arrived but we managed to get a drink then we were shown through to the dining room which is a new extension. The owner told us they had been there a year at the end of this month. Only 2 couples in when we were seated so we could choose our table. Lots to choose on the menu see photos. We opted for the sharing platter of lamb shish, chicken shish, lamb chops, chicken legs and wings, lamb kofta, flat breads, chips, Bulgar rice, fresh salad, tsatsiki and a dip that I didn't try as hubby said it was hot, hot, hot!!! All served on a long wooden platter. Everything was piping hot and plenty of it!!! Lovely fresh salad and lemon. The meat was succulent and tasty. The flat bread wasn't heavy or stodgy just right. By the time we left the room was full. Lots of large parties. Great music too. The owner came over at the end and seemed truly humbled that we enjoyed every morsel. He thanked us for coming and we assured him we will be back. The platter was £59.95 for 2 people. All sides included. Highly recommend this Turkish and it saves going into Doncaster."

We visited on Xmas eve lunch time, we wanted something different and not a roast the day before Xmas! We were not disappointed, we got garlic mushrooms and garlic flatbread with dips for a starter which was all lovely. Our main courses were really good too and plentiful, the meat was really tender and it was all hot. The restaurant area is really nice and even though there wasn’t many people dining it still had a nice atmosphere. Prices were quite expensive but it was worth it. We will definitely return.

First and foremost the food is so good. A table of 10 and not one complaint about quality. Service is also really good, free bread with starters can't complain on that front. The major downside and why I unfortunately won't be revisiting is the prices have gone through the roof. For example the lamb shank used to be £18.95 and now is £26.95. a massive increase in a short space of time. Obviously a price increase is to be expected everywhere at the moment however this is abit much. We were unfortunately the only ones in on a Saturday evening aswell. Maybe just because it's January or maybe because it's got too expensive too quickly. We only live round the corner and if the prices came down we...

One night to visit family who live nearby. Family came to eat with us in the restaurant and food and service there was very good. However in spite of receiving confirmation before hand that the Blue Light Card was accepted for front line workers discount, when it came to pay the waitress was unable to figure it out at the till. Room No 1 was 25°c and air conditioning not working. Could not open the window but even if that were possible the noise from passing traffic all night through the thin timber walls was unbelievable and we barely slept a wink from the uncomfortable heat and noise in that pokey little rabbit hutch, and that's without the herd of elephants coming from the room above. Bas...

We were really looking forward to trying this place, love Turkish food, so went on the 23rd Jan for my birthday. Unfortunately it's not a very Turkish menu, it's trying to be all things to all men, a mish mash of cuisine. A long wait to be served despite only another 4 people in, there was only one staff member who didn't come off his phone the entire time we were there, and it was that cold inside I had to sit with my coat on. Emmerdale, Martin Lewis and then Coronation Street blaring out on the TV isn't my idea of a relaxing meal out. The starters were nice, garlic sausage and stuffed vine leaves, but the mains, lamb kebab and a lamb pide were mediocre. Perhaps we visited on an off night g...

Fantastic Turkish restaurant, if you’ve been to Turkey and experienced the great Turkish food then this is a for you, genuine Turkish staff with plenty to tempt you on the menu, we went as a party of six and ordered a mix of starters to share which was more than enough as you also get a complimentary ballon bread each and a couple of meze dips, the main courses where lovely and the was of really good quality the drinks were really well priced been part of pub, we were served by by a lovely young Turkish waitress who was really polite and made sure we got we got exactly what we ordered . In terms of value for the six of us with a couple of drinks each, starters and mains was £170 so represent...

Stayed at this hotel as attending a wedding which was 5 minutes walk away. Had food at the restaurant which was lovely. That’s all I can say that was good about our stay. We had a dusty, small room with cobwebs and carpet that needed hoovered. No bin; had to ask for one. Quilt had a plastic covering on it which meant the quilt cover slipped away from it. Not enough toilet paper supplied for our stay. 4 teabags provided for 2 of us for 2 nights, but 2 of the teabags weren’t covered (obviously taken from a bigger box), so probably covered in dust as well. No milk provided, kettle lid didn’t shut properly (which could cause a scald), and also didn’t switch itself off! No hairdryer in room despi...

"My partner and I visited Caramaba Brazilian Steakhouse on a Sunday, attracted by the promise of a diverse salad bar and a variety of freshly prepared buffet meats. The restaurant ambiance was inviting, and we appreciated the intimate experience of being the only ones there a strong highlight being the spiced pineapple The salad bar did not disappoint, offering an array of options including cheesy mash, garlic bread, pasta, various vegetables, and nachos. It was a great start to our dining experience, and we were looking forward to sampling the buffet meats. However, our excitement waned when we encountered an issue with the preparation of the meats. Despite my partner's preference for well done meat, I had expressed a desire for medium rare, trusting the chef's recommendations. Unfortunately, both times my meat arrived, it was well done, contrary to my request. I brought this to the attention of the staff, hoping for a correction. Regrettably, even after requesting a second serving cooked to medium rare, the meat still arrived well done. This inconsistency was disappointing and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. In conclusion, while Caramaba Brazilian Steakhouse offers a pleasant atmosphere and a varied selection of salad bar items and buffet meats, the inability to fulfill specific cooking preferences was a notable downside. Improved attention to customer requests and consistency in food preparation would greatly enhance the overall dining experience."
