"Visiting the area and had seen many reviews about this wonder cafe. After a great walk you need a hearty meal. Can’t think of a better place to find that. A soup and sandwich special was on offer at £5.95. The soup was homemade vegetable and I chose a cheddar sandwich. Service was swift and friendly. I wanted hearty and that’s exactly what I got. Soup was undoubtedly full of vegetables and the sandwich freshly made and full.. Coffee was good and re filled without having to asking. Cakes were looking amazing all homemade. I had to plump for the caramel cheesecake which was superb. I’ll be back. I highly recommend the Coppice Café."

Slightly over priced but it is a Nashua lol park. Nice setting but atmosphere could be a bit more friendly

We went to the cafe for a cold drink on a hot day and ended up buying a massive ice cream, it was lovely ice cream but far too much to eat, smaller portions would be much better.

Handily placed in the visitor centre just above the middle falls, this is a small cafe doing great cakes and well prepared coffee. Other drinks, snacks and ice creams were also on offer.

The staff were not prepared for the number of visitors at a warm summer's Tuesday lunchtime. I wanted to order at the counter. The only people in front of me in the queue were a family who wanted to know how long they would still...

What a lovely place the Coppice Café is! Machiato was perfect and the Wensleydale thick bacon in soft white roll with sauce ...exactly what I craved and didn't disappoint. If I could have stolen the scones from the table opposite I would have . Many...

Visited with family, Sunday 13th September. The ice cream was to die for and the service was brilliant. Both waitresses we encountered were lovely and so kind to the children. The price was extremely fair. Couldn’t recommend enough, the perfect end to a lovely day,...

After a lovely walk along the falls, we were in need of a feed and we were not disappointed. Hot, yummy vegetable soup served with a side of grated cheese, cream and 2 chunks of homemade brown bread. Free refills offered for coffee and top up of hot water. The best cafe soup meal I’ve had. Lovely staff as well.

After a long walk around Aysgarth and Carperby was ready for a drink very welcoming at entrance to cafe as allowed dogs to go inside even though we sat outside. Customer service was excellent as staff brought order out to outside table. Fabulous large fruit scones with butter and jam. The food aromas whilst at the counter was delightful will be going back for a full meal later. Outside seating area was delightful with local bird wildlife. Quite busy being midweek with all age groups

"We arrived here for a 2 night stay for a wedding (Fri sat night). PROS: Lynsey the manageress she 100% makes it so fabulous. Lovely, welcoming, looked after us brilliantly. Due to some staff shortages, she was doing what seemed like 10 jobs at once! We ate on one of the nights food was delicious! Great service tasty food. Breakfast was also spot on set us up brilliantly for the day ahead on the Saturday! The Willow room which we stayed in was fab ideal size, lovely cosy too! The whole 2 night stay was extremely reasonably priced the place itself has a great feel about it like a big cosy house! CONS: If you like total darkness, take an eye mask for sleeping as the rooms can get really bright from the early hours. Also, depending on the room, it’s on quite a busy road so can be quite nosy it would be worth having earplugs if you like a quiet surrounding. Due to staffing, the bar doesn’t stay open that late, so be mindful of this, they will however put drinks in your room if you can’t make it back in time for the bar closing. Taxis there are no local taxis, so arranging transport to the wedding we were attending was a nightmare which we didn’t account for! Luckily after 6 different phone calls, we managed to get sorted. The only gripe I had was the confusion over the bill if you decide to charge things to your room, the bills aren’t itemised so it’s difficult to keep track of what has been charged. There was some confusion on checkout over what we should shouldn’t have been charged for, so definitely choose to pay for any extras outright to avoid any confusion or uncertainty before check out. Other than that, it was one of the nicest, most personal stays we’ve had out in a long long time. This was mainly down to the Manageress Lynsey who is fabulous at her job really does make it feel like home makes you feel super welcomed relaxed. Thank you lynsey for really making a stay a one to remember."
