"I don’t give it a full five stars, however, due to the inconsistency in how some staff members manage the seating process. A few weeks ago, I made a reservation and also visited without one on a separate occasion. Both times, we were told to wait in the bar area. On our first visit, I arrived about ten minutes early and was told I couldn’t sit down before my reservation time. That was fine; I understood. However, I was instructed to take a seat and wait. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, and after our booking time passed, we had to remind the staff that we were still waiting. Eventually, they informed us there would be a 45-minute wait for food, something they hadn’t mentioned while directing us to wait in the bar. Today, I didn't make a reservation again. I believe the same person was at the reception. I asked if we could have a table for two, and again, we were told to sit and wait. It seemed a bit silly since the restaurant was only about a third full. I was informed there would be a 20-minute wait for dinner, which was acceptable. After we sat down, we noticed that other patrons who arrived after us were also waiting for a table and eventually left because of the odd waiting situation. There were no clear indicators that we were waiting for someone to seat us for dining, and the staff member who initially asked us to wait never returned to check on us or inform us that we could be seated in the dining area. It was confusing, and it shouldn’t feel rude to ask the staff about seating; there should be better communication. Overall, the experience could be improved with better service coordination."
