"I was just in darby's caffe, just because I'm always on the road, but I have to say that what I really like to see is that it is open until after 17 o'clock. it is the only caffe in ironbridge that is open to 17 uhr is a real bonus and treat for anyone who misses the last bus to telford! lol. it is worth missing the last bus to telford. take a comfortable seat in the window, with magnificent bridge view and relax with a beautiful strong cuppa, or their favorite gardens in coffee. I'm sure they'll be happy to serve a homemade piece of homemade cake to fit with their hot drink in front of their car: always a pleasure, never a choir to be served by richard and his cheerful team!"

Cold service, cold coffees, burnt sandwiches, tasteless soup, soggy bread and 1 tiny strip of smoked salmon. Without mentioning that the tables wasn’t cleaned. That’s a no, no, from me. Never again.

Stopped here for a cuppa and a cake. Not dog friendly inside but sat outside on the pavement table and chairs. It was a fine day so very pleasant. Ordered coffee and cake and a tea and clotted cream scone. Staff helpful and pleasant.

on a day with friends, we eat elsewhere, but after mooching around, and with the magnificent views, we stopped here and had a cream tee that was fantastic! absolutely beautiful small place, personal so friendly and welcoming, and efficient.

We had the Darbys breakfast with orange juice and a flat white. The orange juice was lovely and fresh. The breakfast was superb. No grease, fresh eggs. Nice big piece of black pudding. Bacon cooked to perfection. Fantastic attentive service. A place we will come...to again on our next visit to ironbridge.

we were very disappointed by the quality of the food and slow service burned brioche roll and broke dry omelette with a small dry bean on the side we waited 30 minutes, although it was quiet we here many paints in. the past, but today the last overpriced bad quality will eat no comparison to Dale-End-Café, where we will go in future

Order cream tea can't fault the staff but the scone' was as flat as they come could only just split it with a knife....one current between the two of us.....when i mentioned this to the staff they said they would mention it...to their supplier although the nice fluffy risen scones was in the display cabinet!!!! Although the rest of customers food looked lovely.... we walked away very disappointed and wont be going back....

We came in for a small bite to eat for lunch, followed by a coffee. The coffee was so good we had to get a second one to go and I have never been so impressed with such fast and caring service! The food was...to die for! Will be returning here regularly from now on! We sat outside to eat where blankets were provided just in case you felt cold. I also think the view of the Ironbridge is the best angle of the bridge as you can see it all! 100% recommend for anything from a coffee to small bite to eat!

Just popped in looking for a little bit of afternoon tea as a booster before a fairly long walk. The tea cake and mocha combination was enjoyed by one member of our party who said the coffee was just the right temperature Another member enjoyed...the scones very much. There was a very calming atmosphere in the café with nice music playing at what I belive was the perfect volume. Lots of room inside and quite a bit outside and the covid regulations and hand sanitiser were right at the front of the building. Overall a fairly nice outing!

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
