"Visited this morning with friends for a catchup, I had a sausage and mushroom sandwich and my friends had lite breakfasts. Superb quality and cooked to perfection. The service was very welcoming and attentive, multiple checks to see if we wanted anything else. We ended up ordering additional drinks and staying longer than originally planned in the warm friendly coffee house. Highly recommend and will return again soon Thankyou"

Food was fantastic. We went there on our last day and was disappointed we didn’t try it sooner. On our return you will have our 100% attendance. Fantastic service from you all. Thank you

My mum and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat. It’s a lovely location looking out to the stunning ironbridge. Drinks, tea cake and cheese scone. The service was very good. I must say a huge thank you to one of the male staff members who found my purse in the cafe.

Visited Ironbridge during the recent floods and was pleasantly surprised to see Darby’s was open. Knowing the breakfast here is first class and excellent value, we decided to take the opportunity. I was not let down, fantastic service, great food. Thanks Darby’s and team. View menu

We enjoyed a delicious soup yesterday morning, hot and very tasty with a lovely fresh baguette. The place was warm and cosy. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, during the service and as we left. We were very glad that we stopped here for a light lunch.

We stopped by this little gem whilst visiting the Ironbridge. We were lucky enough to get a window seat and what a lovely view we had! We had a full English and poached eggs and salmon, both meals were really nice, and the cafe itself was lovely. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I had read previous reviews of this cafe before we spent a night in Ironbridge and decided to eat here, we weren't disappointed either. Between us we had a cooked breakfast, bacon on toast, cream tea and victoria sponge, all delicious meals cooked to order so lovely and fresh. Staff were welcoming and attentive, prices are reasonable too. View menu

I have eaten here many times, because the food is good, and about 50% of the time with my very friendly, clean and well-behaved Labrador. Today, on a cold winter day we were turned away because they don't allow dogs. I challenged this, as I've been here many times with my dog and was offererd a seat outside! No thank you. The Bolt Hole, 30 seconds away, is very friendly to dogs, where I shall go in future.

We went to Darbys for breakfast. The service by young girls was excellent. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Nothing was to much trouble. The food was of good quality and quality. Great value for money plus a perfect view of the iron bridge. (Build in 1779 engineered by William Darby hence the name) I definitely recommend this delightful cafe. As you can see from out empty plates we really enjoyed our breakfast!

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
