"Had to check out this restaurant while visiting Erlangen for a day. Love to support places that source their produce locally. With a daily changing menu, they certainly offer freshness at its best. However, we didn't fancy anything they had on their daily menu and...went for their classic dishes. My wife had a lovely mixed salad plater with an incredible potato (only half of it though) and a bread dumpling. It was beautifully served and as good as a mixed salad gets. All components were presented on their own, which deserves extra points. I had a somewhat strange-sounding nights pasta. It consists of a different pasta with lovely Arabian herbs spices and caramelised chopped-up dates. The flavours were really incredible in this dish. Their fresh juices were also excellent. However, the points where they could do better is by doing the food justice in the menu. The description of each meal is quite bland and often oversimplified. Eating starts with reading the menu...and if it doesn't speak to the mind, then you're missing out on an opportunity. The interior design is also slightly off-putting. The vibe felt more like that of an old-age home (the urine-yellow lights did not help The freshness and vibrance of the food does not match the design, which I thought was peculiar. Nonetheless, with a very friendly staff and a cute outside area displaying several herb plants, this establishment is a winner and worth your money time)!"

We used a short stay in Erlangen to visit Bio-Restaurant Bio-Café “Muskat”. In view of the warm weather we took place at one of the tables in the cozy courtyard. But there was something that bothered us from the kitchen. The service was fast and beautiful. The map is not extensive. In addition to seasonal dishes, there is the standard card – quite natural! We were more refreshed. So we ordered ice cream and coffee. The latte was good, the ice cup was much better. The ice cubes and the milk ice cream of the fruit ice cup were simply brilliant.
