"Was very disappointed in the evening, I booked a table for 7:30 didn't get seated until gone 8pm. Once seated our menus took ages to be brought over to us. Almost felt like we were just left in the corner. The food was okay but we were all past it after our food finally came along about 9:15pm. Had booked the table for a double birthday but was very disappointed."

The food is always amazing here and very friendly staff too. It was a very busy night and the service was a little slow but staff were very apologetic about this. I can thoroughly recommend this pub.

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Desserts were very good. Service was excellent relaxed and good humoured. Parking was a bit of a problem because of popularity but we managed to park on the road. View menu

Fantastic food, friendly attentive staff, dad loves the Beers, and the snug out the back is just adorable. Although food is fantastic it is real pricey. Perfect for playing board games after a long walk (maps and trails in the pub) xx

Had a great roast dinner here. Unfortunately had run out of a couple of roasts but that was understandable as it was late in the day. Food and service was good. We will be coming back and also planning to visiting some of they're other pubs.
