"What a wonderful place! The pub was outstanding, and the caravan park, along with the caravan we stayed in, was fantastic. Our granddaughters absolutely loved it, especially the ducks. We were also fortunate to see a piece of history—a boat that participated in the Dunkirk evacuation, aiding our brave military personnel during World War II. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars!"

I had a wonderful experience at this pub. The food was served until 7:30 PM, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and sipping drinks in the sun. There’s also a lovely walking path right by the river, along with boat rentals available. The parking is spacious, and the exit is easy. I would definitely recommend visiting this place!

"he was here quite late for lunch (2.20 o'clock) and was confirmed by wendy, who still served food. she showed us to a beautiful window table saying that my mother wanted to sit next to the heat sink, as she felt the cold and it was an annoying, humid and foggy day out. beautiful, clean table. menu includes many homemade eating. mama had homemade hutcakes and veg from the special board, I had sampi, salat and chips. the toilets were clean and their high chairs for small children were all neat, immaculate clean and cozy a very well maintained house. the food was delicious, my sampi was fleshy and crisp with a beautiful large dressed salat in a separate dish and a huge bowl of perfectly cooked chips. mama enjoyed her hut cake and had red cabbage, carrots, plucked, beautiful green beans (definitiw not frozen from a package) and new carrots and a beautiful crug. the puddings were very tempting (gipsy tart, banoffeee pie, apfel, sultana and cinnamon to name only a few), but we were so full of net that we had to devourable. wendy was obviously a person with an eye for detail, always ready for feedback good or bad – as it helps her to improve the things. she really doesn't have to improve anything like she said when it's done as she would be treated, then that's good enough for her and actually us! They make a pudding and pint night that sounds good. there is also a good parking space right next door and the beautiful little Minster church is directly opposite. paul was also very friendly and chatting. we had a very nice lunch, what a nice little pub thank you and well done, wendy and paul!"
