"cost my friend to his birthday meal when he likes a mixed grill, but never one as big as that seen before! he enjoyed it very much, even though he could not manage to eat anything. Visited a few times lately while out cycling, always a warm welcome. Lovely cosy room with a real fire. Good selection of ales which are always well kept. All staff are polite and friendly.

thanks to all at the dolphin for the fantastic eating great service. we had a nice night with my sons 18. thanks to rob for the prosecco, beautiful touch very recommend this place that eating was amazing. will be back soon

Only called in for a drink with my daughter and the staff were great, very attentive and the atmosphere really nice. Shame we had only just eaten because the food looked really moreish and nothing left on plates. Will be back soon

Went for Sunday lunch and the meal was served quickly and was very tasty and reasonably priced. There was a wide menu with plenty of choice for children and adults alike. The service was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a choice of of turkey or beef for this visit and both plates were well cooked.
