"Total failure! Full of anticipation and very hungry, me and my family decided to eat at Dongio after a long day. We had a bit of know-how about southern Italian delicacies and are generally fans and connoisseurs of Italian cuisine, but what we got couldn 't be described as cooking . Every dish was carelessly prepared and the spices were missing! There was no hint of salt or pepper in any dish. There was no sign or taste of onions or garlic! I wish we had taken a picture because the meatballs were not balls but rather chopped up unseasoned lumps of ground meat. The pasta dish with aubergine and ricotta was neither seasoned nor seasoned in any way. Regarding the service: The atmosphere was tense, we felt unwelcome, the dishes were not explained to us when we asked and they wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. It was noticeable that the establishment was sinking into chaos. Which waiter picks his nose in front of the guests?! Conclusion: The most disappointing restaurant experience ever, especially in Italy."

Since I was a girl, DonGio' has been synonymous with very honest, good food in a place that becomes family if you only go back for the third time! Everything really works well for an evening that can go from informative to formal! Yet another excellent testimony to what can truly be defined as a family tradition! The level of perfection of this place cannot be described in neither words nor photos. It is the most simple, cozy, warm, loving place, and we didn’t talk about food yet. Start with a Caponata, continue with a Spaghetti De Cetara (never ever dare to miss this! and finish with a Tiramisu a nice digestif (Liquor de licorice is a great choice Here’s a challenge.
