East - Menu

WE were seated straight away, but asked if we would like a drink first. The staff were attentive and the food was served quickly. The food was really tasty, and we will definitely be back to sample more of the menu in the future.

Once again a friends get together for a meal, the food was good as usual and the service good. My only complaint about the restaurant is that the acoustics are all wrong, this makes for really noisy surroundings and you can hear conversations clearly from other tables.

This was my first time visiting this place. Very satisfied with the service and food was very nice. Staff were great. Would most definitely recommend this to others. Easy to locate and great atmosphere. I would suggest the restaurant itself promote themselves a bit more Thanks View menu

45 mins waiting for booked table . 30 mins waiting at bar and paying for drinks due to poor staff . Food was about 45 mins . Not everything turned up . Drinks didn't come properly . Staff arguing . Staff wearing in appropriate short skirts ..... won't be visiting again . Shame the food was nice .

The piano player was talented, but unfortunately, we could barely hear him. A group of 14 people was singing along loudly, and no one from the management asked them to quiet down. Because of that, we couldn't even hear ourselves talk. This really ruined our evening, and we ended up leaving the restaurant as quickly as we could. Overall, our first experience was disappointing, and we received no apology from the management.

Booked a table for 5oclock on New Year's Eve ,had a couple of drinks in the terrace bar upstairs before we were called for our table. The food from the main menu was absolutely gorgeous and the waiter was very attentive and also had a laugh with us. After dining we went back to the terrace bar and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment,an 80s/90s themed disco,which they had put on for the nights celebrations. Had a great night,stayed till 1:30am,were supposed to be going home about 10ish,but had such a good time we stayed. Thanks to everyone at East for making it a memorable night View menu

Wonderful lunchtime menu, outstanding value and plentiful delicious food. I had the Chicken Kharhai and my friend the Lamb came with Naan or pilau rice so we ordered one of each and shared all for £10!!! They offer more than just curries though. I would recommend as a place to catch up with friends or business lunch on a budget. The only negative is I would relocate the coffee machine as it is very noisy when in action and it's difficult to continue conversations even with the waiting staff). All in all though I hope as many people as possible frequent this restaurant and take advantage of the lunchtime special menu as Id hate it to stop.

We normally visit East most Saturdays and never have any issues, always made to feel welcome and service and food outstanding however Saturday 20th Feb we ordered our popadoms which got put on table to side of us where a gentleman picked one up when the waiter realised and took the popadoms off the table and the guy and placed them on our table our starters arrived which where nice and then we waited 45 mins for our main which wasn't upto usual standard there was food down the side of my husbands dish which looks like it had been spilt over and just wasn't nice it was like eating lemons not madras. I chose this restaurant because my step-daughters were visiting from Southampton for the weekend, and they wanted to eat here since they had enjoyed their previous meal during their last visit to Pudsey. While the food was excellent, the experience was unfortunately marred by excessive noise from a large party at the next table. We requested a quieter table but were informed that the restaurant was fully booked. Additionally, a pianist was playing, which would have been a lovely touch under normal circumstances, but the loud commotion from the group made it impossible to enjoy.
