"During 2020, Eddy’s is takeaway only. Prices are still quite significant but this we expected. We all had an Eddy’s breakfast the other morning that was a fair size and all cooked nicely, we couldn’t fault it and so today we decided to have sausage and chips and what a mistake that was as they were horrendous! My kids have voted them 3/10 which is poor coming from them. We were the only customers at the time and paid £26 and what was served up was sausages that had burst open and had continued to be cooked for too long so were literally rock hard, the fish itself was delicious but the batter certainly wasn’t ‘beer battered’ as advertised. We got back to the caravan and were so disappointed and definitely wouldn’t purchase again. It’s a lot of money to spend for poor food and I’m so disappointed that the women behind the counter actually served those sausages up as I’m certain they would not have served them to us inside the restaurant if it was open as they looked so terrible. Just because it’s takeaway and food is wrapped up at the moment does not mean the standard of service or food should be below par. Really disappointed."

We had really good fish and chips served by friendly helpful staff. Generous portions cooked to perfection. Served outside overlooking Llangenith beach. What more can you ask for? You can also get amazing cakes and good coffee. Highly recommended.

It was raining so we thought we would pop down for coffee a roll. At the gate to the caravan park we were told we had to pay £5 to park if we wanted to use the cafe! This caused us to turn around the cafe to lose business, surely not a win for anyone!

Had some nice breakfasts and teas in here when we camped on site. Spectacular views of ocean. Would highly recommend.Take away open when inside restaurant closes for food. The takeaway serves fish, chips, pies, scampi etc. Lovely to eat on picnic benches and look at sea views!

View is amazing but waited 20 mins in the queue yet there were 8 people behind the counter. The queue is still the same length half an hour after we have been served. Something obviously needs to change. Coffee was in a minute cup yet prices are prime west end ones. Happy to pay for quality but please don’t scrimp. And just checked and the queue is still the same length.

We had several meals here while camping and surfing nearby. We were very pleasantly surprised at how many hearty vegan options they had and different plant milks for coffee! The vegan burger was amazing and they do a full breakfast too. The scrambled tofu needs some work (you need to press the tofu and add more seasoning/onion) but was otherwise great and very filling. Good prices and a selection of local gins available too.

we had a day at Llangennith while were on holiday on the Gower .. I had read reviews of Eddys not all good but I like to judge for myself , so at lunchtime we came off the beach and made the short walk through the dunes up the hill to Eddys .. The service was friendly and efficient and as it was a lovely day we sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the views across the dunes to the sea . The food we had was delicious and wasnt long coming. There are a few very negative reviews about this place, which is a shame. Maybe we were lucky but we thought it was excellent and look forward to returning when we can.

Will and his team have served us several times over the month of July and August since opening back up post covid. They are take away only. But we've eaten outside making the most of the change to be in the fresh air. Fish and chips excellent. Loaded chips fab. And his specials are really good. My favourite are rosemary and garlic flavoured chips. Several hot breakfasts enjoyed too. Ice creams aplenty. And good choice of cakes and drinks. No toilets on the entire site. And when it rains not too many undercover options. Food has been hot when served. Plentiful and tastes good (in my opinion). Its not haute cuisine but after walking or being on beach hits the spot. Thanks Will and team. Apprec...

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"
