"When you see the entrance you may think what the ... is this place as it looks dingy, but once passed the main entrance the bar gives onto 4 independent and differently decorated dining-rooms and also a couple of open air terraces. We booked a table for 12 in advanced because we had been told that it can get very crowded, and it did. We ordered goat's cheese salad which was supposedly for ONE, person yet 4 of us shared it, with three salads sufficed for 12 people, the same went for the calamari and the homemade croquettes. We then ordered the 4 Parrillada (mixed grill) Escondrijo which consisted of spare ribs, lamb chops, creole sausage, porterhouse steak and fillet steak with homemade chips (not the frozen stuff) and green peppers and it was deeelicious! For dessert the three chocolate mousse was excellent, as was the cheesecake and the homemade fig ice cream, raisin ice cream and raspberry ice cream. It was a feast day so they were really busy. And there was a point when service was a bit on the slow side. Other than that, we enjoyed the meal immensely."
