"Bar Casa Julio, a small casual eatery on the central square, was busy on a Monday evening when many other restaurants are closed. We had a reservation for 9 p.m. When we arrived our table was waiting and all the other tables were full. The dining room is a small space next the bar with a large photo of the sea on the opposite wall. There are a few more tables on the front porch. The menu offers a few specials including a fish of the day, a list of shellfish and a few other fish and some meat dishes as well as salads, starters and boards of cheese or charcuterie. The server immediately recommended the fish of the day, which turned out to be sea bass. We ordered the sea bass and the squid in ink sauce, one of my favorites. The server dissuaded me on ordering the mixed salad saying that the fish came with a large salad. This turned out not to be true as it came with only a couple of slices of tomato on lettuce. The grilled fish was fresh and nicely cooked and was simply plated with unseasoned boiled potatoes and a salad garnish. The tender squid was in a rich ink sauce and served with limp French fries. I’ve seen complaints on Tripadvisor that they were surprised by the price of the fish special. They did not tell us in advance that the fish was 26€, which was high compared to other dishes on the menu, but for us not unreasonable. If you are concerned I would ask the price before ordering the fish of the day. Service is a bit abrupt and pushy but otherwise efficient."

"Cozy restaurant, with a semi-enclosed terrace. Menu of €30 per person, which was what we ordered, they are à la carte dishes. It includes dessert, bread, water, wine (we drank white Viña Albina D. O Rueda) and coffees. Very good quantity and very rich everything. Very attentive staff and advises you perfectly. Parking: There are places in front but there is a lot of demand, another option at the entrance of the town and walk about 200 meters"

"Nos habían recomendado el sitio y fuimos a cenar una noche. Nos llamaba la atención los calamares fritos en su tinta, y fue lo que pedimos, además de unos fritos de merluza. Al preguntar si tenían bocartes, nos dijeron que tenían muy pocos y eran para consumo propio. Al rato, la camarera nos ofreció compartir sus bocartes. Todo un detalle. Todo estaba exquisito, pero era demasiada comida para dos personas. Nos prepararon para llevar la comida que nos sobró, y nos solucionaron la cena del día siguiente. Quiero indicar también que al hacer la reserva por teléfono saltó el contestador, pero no dejamos mensaje. Al momento nos devolvieron la llamada y se formalizó la reserva. La comida es exquisita y la atención, impecable. La única pega (por encontrar una), las escaleras de acceso al local, complicadas de salvar para personas con movilidad reducida. Recomendable."

"This restaurant is 5 minutes from Cudillero, it is a modest restaurant that we found through Google Maps. When we arrived there were many workers in the area eating the daily menu and that is a sign that you eat well. We opted to order dishes from the menu and we were not disappointed, everything was delicious and plentiful. The table of cakes and the Asturian pot were spectacular. The cachopo was good although with a little more oil. The very curious chocolate explosion with the peta zetas. A highly recommended place to eat if you are passing through the area. The waitress who served us was lovely. "a very restaurant, with wonderful views to the beach of the shell of Artedo. The menu has plenty of incoming and with a few seconds dishes with several fish options and a section of meats where the cachopo can not be missing, as well as steak iron and the stapines in salsa. They also have a tasting menu of 60 euros for 2 people that includes wine.It is not bad, a slice of goat cake, some chipirones in sauce, mussel pan, and an abundant serving of lubine on the plate with some baker potatoes. Includes dessert and as mentioned earlier wine is also included.We were a group of 6 people and we asked for a tasting wine, and then a plate of the letter each. The bass on the spectacular back!In your joto point!!The alcachokes with clams in green sauce tamby abundant ration and well tasted. The octopus to the braise also very good, with a vichy cream that combines very well with the octopus. And here comes the only thing that is not up to the other dishes, the cachopoos of veal was the weakest dish of all that we tasted. The meat was not juicy, it was not past a fryer, it is more a product quality failure.The.service by the very good staff,atentos at all times!! They had spoken very well of this restaurant and I only have to refresh it, which is a very good option to enjoy the typical Asturian cuisine!"
