"First of all, this place is about meat! It is small, cosy and always packed. Sometimes, you hardly hear your partner, as the place is so much full. Quite often, you sit next to the bunch of nasty consultants, that is why I know the...place. But it is not disturbing. My suggestion is simple: avoid any starters, salads or so and take the biggest piece of beef filet. You can get the T-bone for the price and you won’t be dissapointed, but filet is filet. The meat is so great, petfectly grilled, you would not need any spice or sauce. Even salt and pepper will be redundant. So the wine list is good and service excellent. Even the house wine is better than what you usually get as a bottle for double price. If I can name few downsides: i) frozen carpaccio was too salty and otherwise tasteless; ii) salad dressing is a bit too strong. Finally, the place is expensive, but worth every penny, we are coming back regularly."

Fantastic steak, good service. I always try to book in here when visiting Bonn. It is worth trying to book a table as it can get busy at peak times. The wine selection is also rather good.

I’m from Uruguay, which shares most of the same traditional Argentinian foods, so I can judge this very well. The asado de tira was spectacular! As a traditional starter, I recommend Provoleta cheese and chorizo. I am very happy to have found such place in...Bonn keep up the good work!

Year after year we make a return visit to El Tarascon and without fail we truly have a very enjoyable meal. The staff are super efficient and you never feel rushed even though there are people queuing to come in. At the weekend you definitely...need to book because it is so popular. It doesn't matter whether you choose their steaks or chicken or lamb the meat is super tender.

It is the best place for meat eaters. Possibly one of the best place in Bonn. I’ve been twice in Bonn in mission and we managed to go there 3 times. Excellent steak, portions are very generous, service is very professional and friendly at the same time. Very warm welcome. If you happened to be in Bonn, reserve in advance and go! You will enjoy it and will definitely get back again.

We went there after reading the good reviews and we quite disappointed... We didn’t go for the lunch deals, but for the normal menu. Meat was ok... soft but with some kind of back taste that wasn’t supposed to be there. I personally didn’t like...the soup they offer first and the bread was hard and dry. Also they brought us the wrong side dish and by the time they came back with the right one we were done eating.... Not a place I would go back!

Excellent service with friendly, attentive and polite staff. Lovely ambience The of the meal was delicious and chimichurri was super. However, the bread served was disappointing. The empanadas were very well done. We ordered the rump steak, a sirloin and a rib-eye and the steaks...were all delicious. The spinach was lovely and different fries were full of flavour and tasty. El Tarascon is highly recommended and we will return. Thank you for a wonderful meal, my children and I enjoyed ourselves.

The actual food was fantastic, but the service was so poor it ruined the meal. I was served with a steak that was undercooked (ordered medium, recieved medium rare) and after asking the kitchen to correct the issue, the waitress came back to the table...and claimed that because I spoke english, the medium I ordered was dofferent from a “German medium” even though my German partner originally ordered the steak for me. I do not reccomend this restaurant to those traveling to Germany for the first time and still learning the language. It is ashame my meal ended with me in tears.
