"When I first visited „Evas kitchen“ I was disappointed that one of the 2 vegan empanada options was already sold out, as I wanted to order the „combination of 3 empanadas and a small mango salad“ they sell as main dish for € 15, and 3 empanadas of the same type felt like a bit too boring. So I went instead with a single Quinoa empanada their main vegan option) and as main dish the vegan „Rocoto especial“, € 15.90) a red pepper filled with quinoa and nuts, served with sides of boiled potatoes with a lightly) spicy sauce, mango salad and corn. This turned out to be a very lucky change of events, as the „Rocoto especial“ turned out to be delicious, actually one of the most tasty dishes I have had in a restaurant recently. According to Wikipedia , “Rocoto” is actually a Peruvian chili variety ten times spicier than jalapeño that is cooked in vinegar water to remove as much of the spicyness as possible so that it can be used in Spanish dishes requiring bell peppers not native to Peru), but I am pretty sure the restaurant just use regular non-spicy bell peppers in that dish. Nevertheless, it was delicious, and certainly a reason for me to go to this place again. The empanada, on the other hand, was a little bland, even though the spicy sauce that came with it made for a great contrast. Updated from previous review on 2023-07-22"

the food was delicious again and unfortunately again very little. the pea bowl really had only about 2 tablespoons of boiled rice. Unfortunately, my man didn't get enough.

for the first time we were not satisfied with the quality. burger meat almost raw on the inside) the chef took our criticism seriously and personally fried a second burger for us.

Nice find. Small and cozy. The staff were very welcoming. I was advised about the food. What was suggested was meat and egg wrapped in mashed potato. It was light, not a bit stoggy and very tasty (with salad). A perfect brunch. Only problem was there is no loo accessible for me. There is a loo but I use a walking stick and would need a hand rail. Hay ho. I dare say that could be fixed. If you use a wheel chair there is no access to the cafe. ;0(I wish the cafe owners luck. SMJ. View menu

I have eaten Peruvian for the first time and tried the Empanadas with Quinoa, which were very tasty. The main dish with tofu, vegetables, potatoes and rice has also tasted well, but it was not a new exotic taste experience. To drink we chose the apparently typical Peruvian chicha morada from purple corn, interesting, but in my opinion not particularly taste-intensive. The owner is nice and likes to explain the menu. Generally it seems to be a family restaurant that is lovingly furnished and offers an authentic, simple kitchen. I would recommend it especially for small things like Empanadas and less for exotic main dishes.

So geht wirklich gutes italienisch -mediteranes Essen. Preislich zwischen 12 und 20 Euro. Absolut angemessen mit guten Portionen. Dann Tiramisu ....große Portion, sehr gute Konsistenz, geiler Geschmack. Preislich um 5,- Euro.Fazit: Da geht absolut mehrmals .
