"Ambience (5/5): Feldon Valley The Lodge is really nice and modern with cosy common areas like the indoor fireplace in the lobby, the outdoor fireplaces on the terrace. Room (3.5/5): We booked the standard double room in the main building. We checked in to a room on the second floor (poplar section). The window in the room is as small as the photos on the booking website, so that was not a surprise. The view out of the window was mainly the tree outside the window, and not to the golf course. When it comes to the bathroom, the shower is much smaller than expected. Food (5/5): For breakfast – cold breakfast is laid out on a table, while hot breakfast is available on menu. I ordered pancakes with pork back bacon and maple syrup which was really good. For dinner – I ordered the pork tenderloin which was very good. The tenderloin was very juicy and tender, while the mash was paired with finely diced apples which gives it some acidity and a good contrast. The char on the vegetables added depth to the dish. Note: we went to Sainsbury’s to buy s’mores supplies with the hope that we could make s’mores over the fireplace on the outdoor patio. We were dismayed when the front desk informed us we were not allowed to make s’mores over the fireplace."

Just got back from a week at Feldon Valley with our dog and we had the most amazing stay. So dog friendly, in such a great location and the staff are SO helpful in letting you know great places nearby to visit especially Ranj who wrote us an entire list. The food at Feldon Valley is also amazing, we will definitely be returning! Rooms: 5 Service: 5

Our breakfast was sensational. The gluten free bread is homemade and is THE best I've ever tasted. Decaf coffee and hot milk perfect. The size and freshness of the raspberries! The little pats of local butter, I could go on and on! The ambiance is and the staff are brilliant Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet

Really nice getaway in The Cotswolds just a short walk from the distillery. Room was lovely with a great view and very comfy bed. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main building with a lovely view over the green rolling hills. Food in the restaurant was good. Drinks were ok avoid the Irish Coffee tho it was bad. Good breakfast too. Very calming stay and would defo go back Rooms: 5

The course is in excellent condition and the facilities are second to none. Only disappointment with the hotel room is that there is no air conditioning so room was very hot. Restaurant service was brilliant, except they were out of peas to have with the fish and chips, and out of smoked salmon to have with the scrambled eggs at breakfast. Very surprising. Nevertheless we shall certainly visit Feldon Valley again Rooms: 4

From the moment you arrive you see how beautifully smart the hotel is. You are greeted by the most down to earth, kind and genuinely happy staff. The walk way/ grounds are beautiful. It is genuinely one of the most dog friendly places I have ever stayed. The room is beautiful and clean and spacious. The food was outstanding. Me and my partner said multiple times you can tell the staff are happy working here. There is a really pretty walk around the golf course for your dog. The check in and out process was very easy. I would stay here over and over again

One night stay for our anniversary! Staff in the hotel couldn't do enough for us even placing a card in our room and giving us a complimentary prosecco, the lodge is very sweet and the grounds are very peaceful. The lady on reception, i believe possibly from south africa is an amazing asset to your team! We had dinner on site at the Kitchen and it was really nice, packed full of flavour and cooked to perfection! Breakfast was to match, the views from our seat were also beautiful, definitely will be recommending and also returning. *The only thing id change is the view from the lodge, i would have preferred to face the golf course and enjoyed the sun instead of shade. Thank you again!

"unfortunately not quite the expectations. we sat at the arrival and our order was taken quickly. eating that was served was by a good standard. However, there were a few things during the meal that leave the side slightly down. I ordered the brot and the hume for the starter when it arrived, there was no vow. When I asked this, I was told that they have no left, asked the waitress what I want, instead of asking no question that I can answer if I get a list of options! When we asked her to find out that she came back from the kitchen that there were no alternatives, I would like to have a little butter. if I had known all this before the order, I would have chosen something different than brot and butter. another member of our party who arrived after the first group ordered a limette and soda to drink, but was served what tasted like a limonade when this was asked, she was told that it was the limette and soda that she demanded, but it tasted very different to the limette and soda that was ordered by another member of the group. When it came to dessert, it was asked if the sticky toffee pudding came with ice, as was not mentioned on the menu, we were told. but when the desserts arrived, there was no ice when we asked, we got a small smoker with a small chocolate ice cream, a little a strange combination with sticky truffle pudding and a scandal, not having everything on the same teller. Finally, so much we love dogs that they constantly run under the table around our feet was not ideal for a Sunday afternoon. it is a pity that the service and the love for detail was not entirely on scratch, as the majority of foods could not be failed at all and it was good for the various nutritional requirements of the group."
