"The portion sizes are quite decent and offer good value for the price. I did find the naan a bit small, but that’s a minor detail. I would love to see a Tandoori option on the menu, though I understand that local preferences might not lean towards Tandoori dishes. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, giving me a nostalgic feeling reminiscent of India. The music is soothing and enhances the dining experience without being intrusive. The service staff is friendly and very polite, contributing to a wonderful experience during Diwali night. Thank you!"

"Didn't eat, so cant rate the food. Waited for 25 minutes after being seated and no one had taken even a drinks order. So went up to the counter to order, assuming there is no table service. Everything except 1 item we ordered was sold out. We left and went somewhere else to eat."

"Very Disappointed, came here today to have the big pan special which is Yellow Thai, which i normally enjoy so much and always come to have this for my lunch, well today i wished i did NOT bother, it taste nothing like it usually does, seamed missing the taste it normally has and also was extremely oily runny looking, then the amount of Yellow Thai i got compered to the rice was a joke, hardly any meat in the ridiculous tiny spoon of food the lady serving gave me. so not only did my lunch taste disgusting i basically was given rice and the tiny amount of pan, nothing like i normally received rather upsetting and disappointed i wasted my lunch break walking down to you today, not sure if the lady that served me is new to the job or what but today's vist has left me very disappointed to be given what i did today compered to my usual Yellow Thai vists, both the taste and the amount given needs to be fixed please improve this for next time"

"I've eaten at a few good vegetarian south Indian places (like saga and woodlands in london) and this place really gives them a run for their money. There are now a great many vegan items marked on the main menu (in the restaurant sadly not on their website yet). You can get most of what you'd want from a south Indian like dosa, vada, idly, thalis etc. If you've never yet tried South Indian then i highly recommend it, it's a bit different to standard Indian food and just as flavorful and spiced and comforting but with a few extra interesting textures. The dishes are small and cheap so but a few and share to try a bit of everything."

"My partner and I have been once before for a family birthday a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. We booked a table for tonight, and it was nothing short of amazing. The restaurant is small but the seats are very well situated. It is very clean with beautiful decor which makes it a lovely relaxing place to eat. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a waiter, and was quickly shown to our table. We had drinks to our table within 10 mins of being seated at well as complimentary olives and bread! We ordered our starter which were perfect every way, as was our mains. There really was no complaints at all. The staff were very friendly and everything about the restaurant was above and beyond. I will be returning and highly recommend it to anyone that wishes for a quiet and delicious meal out. Thank you to all at The Olive House."
