"My partner and I recently had a fantastic lunch at Flora Tea Rooms. As visitors to the area, we didn't know what to expect from a seaside café, but we were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this gem. Both being vegetarians, we opted for the cheese omelette which was delicious. The menu was extensive and all the dishes being served to other tables looked just as appetizing and fresh. The chips were amazing and the side salad went above and beyond with its mix of beetroot, peppers, and coleslaw. Despite it being October, the cafe had a steady flow of customers which is a testament to its popularity. The staff worked seamlessly together to provide friendly and efficient service. Well done, Flora Tea Rooms!"

The fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. However, the chips were terrible. They were clearly frozen, processed potatoes instead of freshly cut.

The restaurant has a stunning location, with friendly and attentive staff serving delicious and affordable food. They are also pet-friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We stopped here for breakfast before a walk. I had some coffee cake, which was amazing. My friend had their vegan breakfast, which she said was amazing as well. We would come again! View menu

Visited on Friday lunchtime. Busy place, dog and family friendly with brilliant friendly service and very yummy fish and chips! Perfect location for a walk or beach visit. Thank you so much.

Great place and friendly staff! We stopped here yesterday do a quick snack on a muddy cycle ride, we had two pasties and two lattes. The owner at the back is friendly and chatty. I love this place because it does exactly what it says on the tin, simple done well! I often cycle this way for chips with my twin sons in the summer to get them into the forest and away from their screens and never disappointed!

We have been here several times before, and each time it has never let us down. The service was warm and friendly, and they really do serve the best fish and chips! The fish portions are generous with just the right amount of batter. And the fish itself is top quality: delicious and clearly fresh. The cchips are as chips should be: chunky, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We will definitely be back. View menu

Staying in the area for just two days, and visited flora’s on both days. The food was excellent, choosing from the specials board, and very reasonably priced.it was extremely busy on both days, and the weather was superb. What really made it exceptional, was the politeness of the staff, the efficiency and always able to help, and even bringing a fresh water bowl over for the dog. I have lived in norwich for many years and have friends mentioning floras at Dunwich and the fab fish and chips and it lives up to its name.

This is a lovely Tea Room right on Dunwich beach front. The menu is great and very good value for money! Fresh fish , beautiful! We had fish& chips , best I've ever had! I also had the prawn salad for lunch one day and plate was loaded with prawns! Shame I can't share my pictures on here. Staff really friendly. You can sit inside or out, lots of seating. We also aye at The Ship pub ; never again. £20 for a pint and a glass of wine made London seem cheap! Had the smallest portion of haddock and about 8 chips I've ever seen...so can highly recommend Flora's in comparison for great food. I wanted to have a knickerbocker glory but wa full up from my dinner ...but will return for one! Lovely plac...

"This wasn’t our first visit (the previous occasion was more positive than this) but this was really quite poor. Problem after problem, service was poor and just not very welcoming. Firstly, drinks weren’t available issues with draft, but then bottles weren’t available either. So there was a very limited selection of drinks on offer and the staff weren’t proactive in advising what was available. So it was request and receive a no! Secondly, the food was poor. The starters were shocking. Really quite bad. There was a bit of redemption from some of the mains, but we elected to not proceed with anything else as it wasn’t great. We had to wait ages for drinks and foods to arrive despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty and many staff present. Frequently there were 3 staff at the back of the room standing about chatting, but they weren’t attentive to our needs. They didn’t check around the room to see if guests required additional drinks or require plates clearing. They didn’t check to see how the food was and when we complained regarding a starter they simply didn’t know how to handle it. When the draft beer came back on there was no proactive behaviour in returning to the table and letting us know so that more drinks could be ordered. Drinks were poured in wrong glasses, plates were cleared whilst people were still eating and then not cleared when they needed to be! Simply put the staff working had no idea on what table service should be perhaps they had received no training which is a major failing when the restaurant is part of a hotel. It was not welcoming. The restaurant was freezing cold. The service was really very poor and the food disappointing. They also don’t take dogs which in Aldeburgh is a bit weird. There is plenty of space and the tables are large so they would not be in the way. We won’t be returning."
