"Do not order the lamb hot pot at this restaurant. My partner and I visited for the first time today and I was highly disappointed with my £18.95 lamb hot pot. It consisted of a small ramekin of gravy, a piece of lamb fat, and only 3 thinly sliced pieces of potato on top. The portion size was extremely lacking and even after sending it back, there was little improvement. The dish also came with a half baby carrot and a small spoonful of cabbage. Other items on the menu had varying portion sizes, with some being extremely small despite similar prices. I ordered an espresso but received a cappuccino instead. In addition, the conservatory had poor blinds that let the sun shine directly into our eyes. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The experience was so disappointing, especially since it was my partner's parent's birthday meal. Even my partner's mother, who never complains, was concerned about the lack of food for the price. If it weren't for the occasion, I would have requested a refund and gone somewhere else to eat. Additionally, only one out of the three toilets was functioning. The only redeeming quality was the average quality of the food that did make it to our table. Avoid this place at all costs."

I had dinner at this restaurant after a relaxing evening at the spa. The food was incredible, very high quality with generous portions and beautiful presentation. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend dining here. Service: 5/5.

Excellent pub serving a wide range of food covering all dietary requirements. We ordered vegan food and they noticed we had ordered the none vegan mash. Quite rightly they checked to see if it was a mistake (it was). Excellent service and good attention to detail. Wednesday is quiz night which was well run and good fun. Each week night they do a special which is good value, Wednesday was pie and a pint for £15
