Lovely atmosphere, amazing food and the staff were all lovely, nothing was too much trouble.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The prices are reasonable as well. I would give it 5 stars for service and 4 stars for location.

I had dinner at this restaurant after a relaxing evening at the spa. The food was incredible, very high quality with generous portions and beautiful presentation. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend dining here. Service: 5/5.

Fab meal tonight especially the Scallops starter. Daughter and I especially loved the treacle tart with gingerbread base with homemade ginger ice cream. Has been few years since visited .. just what we needed after walking in Burnsall . Fab service Well managed , tables well separated Staff lovely

Hello our stay here from start to finish was lovely, warm greeting, very warm and pleasant, the rooms are lovely, well furnished to high standard. The evening meals are 5 star, and breakfast the same. Staff very helpful and friendly. On site spa and pool was easy to book and use and very relaxing. Covid procedures were to a high level which was comforting. Only one thing which we feel could enhance your stay, the reception area has an area which chairs and takes to reside and relax, on a night it would of been nice to get a seat before or after out meals, and generally no space, because it's a lovely area. Do not order the lamb hot pot at this restaurant. My partner and I visited for the first time today and I was highly disappointed with my £18.95 lamb hot pot. It consisted of a small ramekin of gravy, a piece of lamb fat, and only 3 thinly sliced pieces of potato on top. The portion size was extremely lacking and even after sending it back, there was little improvement. The dish also came with a half baby carrot and a small spoonful of cabbage. Other items on the menu had varying portion sizes, with some being extremely small despite similar prices. I ordered an espresso but received a cappuccino instead.
