One awesome restaraunt. Sponsored by Augustiner this place is always in the atmosphere one expects from Augustiner. Food was absolutely outstanding. Service was quick and polite. would recommend to anyone in the area of Herzog-Ernst Platz in Munich.

Attended the biergarten this evening. Relatively central in a residential setting, and a pleasant, quietly popular biergarten. Had been a couple of years and ago, and the food did not quite live up to the memory. Staff were ok and not much to complain about.

not an English menu that was a scandal, but the staff was very helpful to explain it to me. the result was good. I wasn't quite sure what I ordered, but it was beef stew with dumplings that was very nice and washed with a glass local beer. a very nice restaurant and very nice eating.

Gasthaus Tannergarten is the best restaurant we have been to in Munich. They had a menu in English. It was walking distance from our Hotel. My wife and I both had beef dishes, that were priced reasonably and very good. The potatoes were Devine. They...had plenty of beers to choose from. The beef was cooked perfectly. beers and both dishes with tip Texas approved!

the restaurant tannergarten is the best restaurant we have visited in Munich. they had a menu in English. it was too foot from our hotel. my wife and I had both bark dishes that were reasonably and very well appreciated. the kartoffeln were devine. they had many beers to choose. the bark was perfectly cooked. 5 beer and both dishes with top $60euro. Texas approved!

This restaurant is near my house and I 've heard a lot about it since it 's undergone a recent renovation, so I was quite curious. My housemate and I decided to check it out last night and it was a pleasant dinning experience for sure. We visited the beer garden as its Munich and that 's what one does on our nice days here, and had a lovely beer. We sat in the service area so you can only order a half liter, the maß seem to only be available in the self service sections. We also split a meal, and I was pleased very much with the entire experience and will definitely be going back and recommending it to my friends/family.
