"We were in the garden at night. The beginning was amazing: On my question about a seat cushion the upper replied that I could get a pillow behind the door or in the restaurant! In a normal beer garden no problem, but because the restaurant wants to show itself something for higher requirements, not very polite. When drinking in the glass, I noticed a peculiar smell. The operation called for help, confirmed my sense of smell and excused it with reference to the dishwasher. Two new glasses no longer smelled so strong and I didn't want to complain anymore. The appetizer proved to be a tiny asparagus salad or the like for 11.80. In the case of beef steak with salad, the salad was found to be sour and the meat drank in the salad sauce. The second main lining was hard like a filled noodle leaf and part of it was not working with the knife. When the food was contested, the service was affected and the kitchen could have wished us a dessert. We didn't do it, the espresso was donated by the service. For this I also gave 5 € tip, the 68 € food bill was neither worth the food nor the service. Appetizer and main food came in the minute! We were in various restaurants in Freiburg, all really great! The impression here was simply weak and disappointing! Never again!"

Beautiful beer garden, I know him for over 40 years!!! Student period. Delicious food, good wines and friendly services. Unfortunately we don't like geeseberry. One suggestion would be: a soft beer from another brewery, so that the driver also enjoys it. Best regards, Eva Haberstroh, March

We regularly go to steel and are always very satisfied. For a few weeks I have discovered the vegetarian dishes and must say that these are a poem. Yesterday there were very delicious pumpkin dumplings that were not too crowded taste just wonderful. It is nice to have a place in the neighborhood where it is still freshly cooked and placed on good and friendly service.

For our tenth anniversary, we had the pleasure of goose but where should they come from? We are unfortunately not the big planners, rather the Spontis and were overjoyed with the very uncomplicated order by answering the call! The food was super tasty, very rich and it was even a small, unplanned; dessert. Thank you very much! In the summer we are very happy in the large, shaded beer garden and enjoy the always very good lunch table. I hope we can do this again next summer 2021!!
