"Today I had Sunday lunch at The Golden Lion. I had the Lamb and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and the meal was just the right portion size. The Roast potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding were mouth wateringly good. You're also given broccoli, green beans and red cabbage which were the perfect accompaniment to the meal. I was with family members who said that their beef was delicious as well. I had the Sunday lunch when The Golden Lion started doing them and they were nice then but now they are fabulous and I highly recommend that you try them. I would also add that the service from the friendly staff is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. Well done Golden Lion. Will be back soon."

thanks to golden lion for a nice lunch on the 16th mai! it was my birthday and we were for a nice walk with our friends and dogs! we then came to them for lunch and were very well looked after by a beautiful dame called lyndsay. the food was also fabulous and the whole atmosphere was fabulous. I would really recommend this place and will definitely be back!
