"G'day All,,Ok my partner and I were staying next door at the Titanic Chaussee hotel and the Golden Rice is next door. Very handy but I would say if you are with 5kms it's worth the trip ... there is a train station very close services the Museum of Natural History. I have eaten at Japanese "influenced" restaurants in several parts of the world and this was my partners introduction.So, typically miso soup, a beer, three (3) selections of sushi rolls ie Californian, Nagri etc and a crispy duck salad and of course, hot sake. To my surprise, there were 12 pieces in each selection and the boat was very well presented. Large amount of wasabi and fresh ginger. All of the food was excellent and my partner delighted. The decor is not plush with timber tables and chairs but it's a peaceful comfortable place.Service was excellent, food served timely and I was actually surprised by the bill which included 3 rounds of sake ..... all out for 55 EHighly recommended CheersRobbee"

I had curry with baked chicken and contrary to my expectation tasted the strongly panned chicken sticks as from the frozen chest. It was also not well heated in the restaurant, which may be due to the size of the premises. Compared to other Asians in the middle with comparable map, both sushi and warm dishes were too expensive.

Alles war gut. Sommerrollen als Vorspeise, genau wie die knusprigen Frühlingsrollen. Es gab Pho nach Originalrezept sowie die üblichen vietnamesischen Curry-Gerichte, gegrilltes Hähnchenfleisch mit vietnamesischen Kräutern. Viel Gemüse und Salat, leicht und trotzdem wurden wir alle satt. Sushi Menu 2 war sehr lecker und gesund.

Our hometown, Vancouver has more than 600 sushi restaurants and we have been big fans since the 1980s so tend to be somewhat discerning re our sushi! We were staying at the Titanic Chaussee Hotel next door and found the the sushi at the Golden Rice outstanding - fresh, well presented, plus excellent/friendly service. Highly recommended! View menu

Ate here as part of a small group on a Friday evening. We all fancied eating noodle albeit most of the dishes came with rice. We asked the waitress who discussed with the manager and we were catered for. I went for the salmon and noodle accompanied by a side of maki. The salmon was nicely cooked and the maki were tasty. My wife was a little less enamoured with her dish of peppered salmon which a little too rare for her liking.

Vi besøgte restauranten en tirsdag omkring kl 18.00. Den var stort set tom, så vi var noget skeptiske, men gik ind alligevel - godt valg! Sushien var super god, omend den tog længe at lave. De havde vidst mange take away bestillinger. Der var ikke isterninger i vores sodavand, hvorfor de hurtigt blev varme. Vi havde vores baby med, som fik en god stol at sidde i indtil hun blev træt. Vi måtte vælge at tage hjem halvvejs igennem maden, og personalet var så søde at pakke resten af sushien ned i en boks til os. De var meget forstående og hjalp os med at komme på farten igen. Tak for et godt måltid :-)
