"We were told about this restaurant by the couple who were looking after the villa we were renting just outside the town. As we were visiting the supermarket nearby we thought we would take a look. Nothing was open and doors and gates were locked although there was a menu (long) on the fence outside. On checking on the internet we saw it opened at 7:00 pm so thought we would give it a go the next night. At 8:10 when we arrived there were only two other tables occupied. By 9:15 the place was packed enough said. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and one of the young chefs took time to talk to us about the selection of food available. As one of the chefs had won several awards for his pizzas we decided to give them a go. We were not disappointed. Bases were crisp and toppings were tasty. The wine recommended to go with them (white for my wife and red for me) were excellent and at 3€ a glass very reasonable. A really good meal in pleasant surroundings with staff who cared that you enjoyed yourselves."

"Non andateci!!! Posto carino... ma solo all 'apparenza, al contrario dei prezzi che non rispecchiano minimamente la qualità (baassa) del cibo somministrato. Ordino un panino con tartare di tonno che ci viene detto non disponibile al momento. ok cambio con la tartare di fassona: pane da supermercato e fassona tagliata grossa e insapore. Il resto degli ingredienti... era invisibile. La mia compagna ordina aperitivo sagrestia a detta della (gentilissima e simpatica) cameriera composto da sapori mari e monti........ lasciamo perdere ma sul serio!!! Hanno avuto il coraggio di portare 4 fette di pane (non bruschette e peraltro a due a due uguali) con una bruttissima e sottilissima fetta di spalla (la parte più scarsa da cui si ricava il prosciutto cotto) con dei finocchi grigliati. Al che giustamente chiediamo ove fossero gli ingredienti di mare. La cameriera cerca di arrampicarsi sui vetri e si scusa, quindi ci porta nuovamente 4 fette di pane (questa volta TUTTE UGUALI) con maionese e sempre la solita fettine sottile di pesce spada ricavata da uno scadente rotolone di affettato... veramente senza parole!!! Alla fine 12 euro di panino e 8 euro per le fette di pane... allucinante. Il vino, chardonnay TeresaManara che conosco benissimo, a 24 euro... un bel po ' sopra la media. Non consiglio a nessuno di andarci. p.s. ovviamente ora nella risposta mi si contesterà tutto ma ho scritto solo la verità"

"Posto meraviglioso ,atmosfera stupenda..La pizza anche buonissima ,soprattutto attenti all'esigenza del cliente e alle allergie ..Unica pecca per la quale non ho dato 5 stelle è la velocità nello sparecchiare...I miei amici avevano finito di cenare ,mentre io ancora stavo finendo il mio purè di fave con cicoria e mi sono ritrovata con il tavolo sgombero anche del cestino del pane che stavo ancora mangiando e che ho dovuto richiedere..."

"Conduzione familiare per un 'osteria che ti fa sentire a casa . Stupendo il baccalà di Franco e le crocchette della sua signora. Il tutto servito con cortesia e simpatia dalla figlia. Un posto dove si torna con incredibile piacere."

"Literally translated in italian, but coincidentally, in Greek meaning All Good.I must say, based on this visit, that Old Kalo is a real find. On arrival, you're struck by the clash of old and new, the contemporary signage on an osteria that could't feel more...traditional. The staff were super friendly, and thanks to some great May weather, we were able to comfortably sit outside in their gorgeous back garden area. (mosquito protection necessary, fyi Although billed as a fish restaurant, we found the menu to be perfectly sized and varied, including a spaziano all carne equina (horse) , but we'd been recommended to stick with fish. The antipasto misto was almost more than enough (3 x for 4 people) with a really good selection of fish, meat and vegetables. Local wine list was to die for. A real find!"
