Not impressed I have to say. Massively expensive for what it is. £19.95 for 5 pieces of scallop ravioli with little sauce. The salmon dish minimal. £38 for a bottle of Melbec which sells for £8 at our local supermarket. Mediocre service yet a service charge wacked on! Going home hungry and looking for a takeaway

My son has been seriously unwell and his first trip out in some time would have been tonight with his girlfriend. Her train from London last night and this morning was cancelled. He was charged £10 per person to cancel the booking. This is the perfect policy to lose and upset customers. I have NEVER EVER been charged to cancel a booking. What a stupid idea. View menu

Table was only ready 15 minutes after booking time, even though the table was free just after we arrived (girl at the front was too busy texting on her phone . We were sat down (15 minutes late but then no-one served us for a further 15 minutes (for drinks . Had to chase the food order which then came quickly but then no-one asked if we needed anything condiments (like paremsan . Don't blame individual staff but just poor experience overall.

Great spot for lunch early dinner or later supper We booked later lunch, still a nice atmosphere, I wanted a different table to that offered and no trouble at all in choosing! Time to decide was appropriate, food arrived and time between courses was perfect. No waiting but no rushing just so relaxed. Lovely calming atmosphere. Staff very attentive but not pushy! And the food so tasty and beautifully presented. Desert wow I really wanted seconds . Most certainly recommend.

Hello, visited Knutsford Gusto last night and felt I should write a review to compliment the staff and chef. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and had quick service from the bar for drinks before we sat. We were able to put back the table booking by half an hour and when we were seated and food arrived it was so tasty, hot and presented so well. We have chateaubriand x 2 and lasagne. The waiter has worked there for 25 years and provided excellent friendly service to us aswell as another waiter who ensured my food allergy was dealt with, which is very important to me. I Came to my favourite place last night for a “first date” the guy decided not to show or even book a table after saying he did and they couldn’t accommodate me more, I had the best meal and service you can ever imagine the 2 young girls couldn’t do enough for me, there was a gent with piercings and the restaurant manager , I was never expecting what they did for me especially the girl who brought me my bill, I never got anyone’s names unfortunately , truly blessed to have such amazing staff work for you. We recently celebrated a family birthday at this restaurant and had a great experience. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was plentiful and delicious. The kids' meals were also good value for money, as evidenced by the clean plates left by all of them. I highly recommend the bruschetta, it was so good I could have eaten it all night! We were seated towards the front of the restaurant near the windows, and it was interesting to see how many people passing by were looking at the menu in the door. Despite not being during peak hours, the restaurant was busy with a younger crowd and couples, possibly heading out for food and drinks in Knutsford. The drink prices were typical for a resta...

Gusto is always a treat, and I find they are one of a handful of restaurants that can cook a really decent lasagne. Our lunch didn 't start well, though, when lasagna wasn 't available to be replaced with a mediocre arrabiata , and despite only being 1/3 full, service was so painfully slow, we had to change our plans for the afternoon. The little niceties do you need more drinks? , How is your food? or sorry for the delay, your food won 't be long simply didn 't happen, and we felt quite let down by poor service, without any apologies.
