"I am not a connaisseur of the Indian cuisine, but compared to several Indian restaurant visits in the UK and also compared to other restaurant visits in Lingen, Hari's Indian restaurant was not performing as expected and certainly not proving to be the #1 restaurant...in Lingen. Was the head chef out? Has there been a recent change in kitchen staff or owners? However, the atmosphere is spot on and the staff is very helpful and friendly. But most important is the food experience, of course. With a group of 4 we started with 30, 37, 39 and 40 (chutneys and various types of nans). Only #40, the Kheema nan offered great tastes. The 3 chutneys were OK but not great. For main dishes we had 72, 100, 101 and 106. I had #72, Chicken Tandoori. The chicken was simply much too dry and tastes were average. The vegetables were not impressive either. The saffron rice was the highlight. Despite the nice atmosphere and very charming staff I would not return to this restaurant."

Very good and definitely worth a visit if you are in town. The service was excellent and my butter chicken was perfect. Thank you.

during a business trip to succeed I came across this Indian restaurant. Eating and service were exceptional, I had the huh ktikka and tandoori huhn. extremely tasteful and honest, very surprised by the high quality of food. will certainly go...back

The butter chicken is indeed one of the better dishes, as other reviewers suggested. The food overall are good, but not exceptional. The dal and Palak Paneer we had were both a bit too salty, the naans are a bit on the soft side. The...staff are friendly. Overall a good place with reasonable prices.

Living in the UK there are a lot of quality Indian restaurants and this one is up there. Good home-cooked taste with authentic flavours. I have visited the Tamil areas of Sri Lanka and this tastes the same. Also, friendly hosting and effort made to...speak English despite our lack of German. Would highly recommend!

What a nice surprise. This place is a real gem. Nice and welcoming restaurant. Good and professional service from the staff. And of course the best the food was excellent. I had the Butter chicken and Naan bread with butter and I can highly...recommend both. I visited on a Tuesday evening and it was quite full even though the city was almost empty. Maybe consider booking a table.

the Indian restaurant of hari was probably the greatest common best experience in all of Europe. eating was fresh and hot. as if it came out of the many. the service was far superior that I had ever experienced. such friendliness and sincerity face to me. there was nothing like I felt in whole Europe. if they ever go after succeeding Germany, they visit here and have the experience of a life kj

I am very happy with quality, spicyness and range of Indian starters , main courses and desserts topped with Kingfisher beer Haris offers a couple of set menus and I took the second full set with Chicken tikka, garlic naan, Lamb Rogan Josh and Kulfi...Each was authentic and spicy and not toned down for the locals!! Living in London and visiting Lingen regularly am happy Haris offers solid and wholesome spicy food in this remote place!! Go for it! Ramesh

we love Indian cuisine! and in our country we went to one for over 20 years until the quality and service changed the drain after management. we ate and eat in many Indian restaurants all over the world, some were bad and some. were good, never the quality of our local favorites. to now! hari’s has very friendly staff, perfect knowledge of their kitchen and clearly experienced. that eating was exquisite as it should be, there was no dish that we did not like. and even with our long history of eating in Indian restaurants we have appreciated the gentle advice very much we did not order too much if we tend to point out that we. it let us come back a second time to have diner [we had a three-da...

"The other day I was invited to the Seven on my birthday. This was my first visit. I was very excited because the reports of some acquaintances differed. No one has expressed harsh criticism. Please don't understand. But in a slightly upscale kitchen everyone suddenly seems to be a restaurant critic. Now to the actual visit. We were very kindly received and the card was enough. We ordered a cocktail on the way. Unfortunately, the names of these are no longer memorable. I would say that it was a modification of a Pimm’s cup based on herbal liqueurs and, on the other hand, a refined variant of an Aperol spray. A good start in the evening the cocktails tasted. The next big plus was the day recommendation of the waiter for the appetizer: The cold cut beef. Already from the neighboring table we heard the guests swarm. And they were right. The court was actually a tasteful bomb. The meat had an intense taste. The tomato cream was a fruity, sweet peppery mix. The pawlings were also great roasted. As an accompanying wine there was a Palatinate barn. She was fruity and not too dry. Ideal for these warm temperatures. As the main course we chose the tuna steak. The fish had a very good quality. Super seasoned, really roasted. Also the Risotto did not disappoint. It had an intense taste and a light bite. I would say that all foods were handmade top. There was no place for a dessert. Therefore, at the end a little criticism: there was too much risotto. It was very tasty, but in combination with the beef on the way and the “wealth” that the risotto has from nature, we both cannot finish our main course. That's why a dessert fell out. Here I would adjust the portion size. What I would also like for my next visit if there was a 3 gear menu proposal. Otherwise, I would like to praise the friendly, competent and fast service again. After our visit to the Seven, we went to the Old Posthalterei and enjoyed the one or other glass of wine and short drink. Our waiter from the Seven was also in the post. He greeted kindly and brought us 2 liqueurs to the house at the table that we have ordered before often on the evening. That was a very great gesture and a sample for “how to end on a high note."
