Went there for the second time and enjoyed the changing menus (daily specials). The menu is a good mixture between local and international mixtures. Service is friendly and price/quality excellent.

A small menu is presented with typical German dishes. The daily specials add seasonal favorites. Vegetarian options possible and a nice selection of drinks. I enjoyed a prosecco with rhubarb juice. View menu

It was nice weather so we sat outside. We had to wait for a while but we're than seated. The Schnitzel is highly recommended. Veal. Very tasty and juicy and the size of a small pizza. The prices are slightly high.

We ate here tonight the 29th January while staying at the local Novotel, and that's the point really. If you want somewhere close by to eat really good value well cooked comfort food, in a warm a be friendly environment and you are perhaps fed up with the corporate offer then you can't do any worse than Haus Mueller, it's a really strong recommendation!

Haus Muller is offering you the choice to sit on the terrace or indoor. Our party of 2 choose indoor. We had a mix of starter (bruchetta), main and dessert (cheese platter). There is a choice of (house) wines served in different quantities. We had 2 whites in 0.5 liter carafes. The courses are classics with a modern twist. It looks good and attractive, taste well. Definitely worthwhile hopping in for a good meal in a pleasant environment. View menu

We had a long walk in Cologne when we arrived at Haus Mueller. We already had booked a restaurant for that evening, but the setting - nice terrace, playing area around the corner for the kids - made us decide to come back the next day.We had a drink first on the terrace, and ate inside a cosy and cool restaurant, where ambiance was really cool and service was great. We had a really nice diner for an affordable price. If I would go back to Cologne and had only 1 place to pick for diner, Haus Mueller would be it.

This is small restaurant sitting on a small square; it feels more like a Paris Bistro. They had just switched to game oriented winter menu. Strengths: Comfortable outdoor seating with heaters and blankets; candles; charming interior. We had 3 starters, 3 entrees and 2 desserts;...they were all really good. This is hard for a kitchen to do. Excellent pumpkin soup; stuffed pheasant outstanding; mushroom and puff pastry excellent; plum cobbler really nice. Opportunity: Not quite enough staff to handle the Friday night crowd.

After two days of getting well acquainted with normal german fare, we were craving vegetables and Haus Mueller came to our rescue without loosing its german roots! A fantastic pickled runner bean and oyster mushroom salad started us off hints of truffle, with a very...drinkable german white. We went on to avoid food envy by both ordering a local white fish served with asian greens and a good german sized portion of wasabi potato puree. Unfortunately no room left for the creme brulee, but a very satisfying and fresh experience, all beneath the stars in a very charming, quiet Cologne square. View menu
