The food is excellent. try the Agnus rossbeef steak with a good wine. They have several wine to choose . But you better ask the waiter for the perfect wine by the diss. It is not chaep but it is very good

It is nice to sit outside on a patio in the heart of the city center. The food was very good- I had a rich mushroom soup and a veal cutlet. The sauces were a bit. Implement for my taste and the deserts had so...many different flavors I couldn’t decide if I liked them or not. The meal was very pricy. I enjoyed the meal but wouldn’t come back

Before we traveled to Frankfurt, I had read about Heimat and I wanted to give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed. Each dish was not only appealing to look at, but it was tantalizing to eat. With each bite of my appetizer, new flavors popped...in my mouth—much to my delight. The rest of my meal did not disappoint me. With wine, the meal is a bit expensive, but it’s well-worth the treat.

Very nice decoration, modern/ minimal and yet classy restaurant. Excellent service, very friendly/ personal service and proper at the same time. Excellent food, and excellent wine recommendations, v good champagne choice, v good cabernet/ merlot with steak and also pinot noir with the fish. I...think I will become a regular even as a solo traveller, whenever in Frankfurt. Congratulations to the team

Our dinner at Heimat was lovely. The wine was superb, the service was good, and I particularly liked the complimentary mini starters and mini desserts that bookended our meal. My appetizer, the Frankfurt curd cheese salad, was delicious an elevated caprese and more. However,...Heimat loses a star because we sat outside. There was just too much noise from the street, which detracted from the experience.

I arrived late and solo at the Motel One which doesn’t have a restaurant and went to Heimat right across the street. It’s a small but stylish restaurant. The kitchen they use is tiny but you wouldn’t know from what arrives at your table. The...crispy goose I ordered was great, the amuse bouche and the petit fours I didn’t order were tasty as well. The only thing missing was someone to enjoy Heimat with.

Walked in alone, met by a very friendly owner. Offered and accepted a place at the bar. Ordered and took recommend wine which was very well suited to the main course. Sublime amuse bouche, followed by tender and juicy pork chop covered with green and...red peppers. Fruit bread and alioli. Absolutely delicious, but such a shame the chop was large enough for and I didn’t have space for dessert! Strong recommend!

In over years of coming to Frankfurt, tonight I experienced a special meal, and one of my favorites of all time. The staff was so hospitable. I sat at the counter, which I highly recommend for smaller parties. Watching the meals is part of...the experience. The meal itself was delicious and sophisticated. This being said, there was nothing that was over your head. The staff was accommodating when it came to trying wines, and helping you enjoy the meal to the fullest. Every dish was explained in a plain manner making for a cozy atmosphere during the meal. If you only have one night in Frankfurt, skip the schnitzel and book a reservation at Heimat instead.

I was on business in Frankfurt and had a late dinner at Heimat. Luckily the kitchen closes at The restaurant has a great atmosphere. Especially as a solo guest, the open kitchen/ service counter is fantastic to be seated at to enjoy watching...the chef action and plate setting while having dinner. The menu was a mixture of regional and European cuisine at prices one expects at this location. I had the veal tartar as a started, the blood sausage for main, at the semolina pudding as a dessert. All dishes were well prepared and presented, including the amuse-bouche from the kitchen. The wine selection was good and well explained by the service staff.
