"The pub offered an excellent selection of beers, and for gin enthusiasts, there were numerous unique flavors to try, including homemade damson and sloe gin. The roaring log fire and the super friendly staff added to the warm atmosphere. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, juices, plenty of tea and coffee, toast, and a full English breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients. The host was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and always available for a chat or to offer recommendations for places to visit or dine. Dining in the evening was also a pleasure. The menu may not have been extensive, but the chef was always willing to accommodate special requests or culinary whims, serving our meal right by the fire, which was just perfect. Lastly, the resident dogs were a lovely addition, adding to the friendly ambiance of this super dog-friendly establishment. Thank you for a wonderful stay—we will definitely be back!"

We stayed for one night whilst visiting relatives. It is a lovely bar with lovely staff and fantastic food and accommodation especially love the breakfast! We will definitely be staying again.

We have visited this restaurant several times since we first discovered it 18 months ago in Somerset. The food is always excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. We visited friends there last night, and they also agreed that it's a fantastic place with great food and a lovely ambiance.

Decided to book a night (8/10/16) at the H.arms to have a mini getaway with my significant other. Couple running it (and staff) were lovely and engaging. The pub is a fantastic beautiful old building which is (after a recent touch up/resurrection) looking amazing. The food we had was superb (duck for me, steak for my SO), absolutely succulent. Lovely breakfast as well (the bacon in particular was exceptional). All in all, couldn't recommend higher, and we will be back!
