"with eating on Christmas, it's always such a thing. often one is already lying before visiting a restaurant of festive customs. especially on Christmas holidays, the return in the restaurant can quickly become a gastronomic pfeffermint. Monty-Python fans with preference for "the sense of life" know what I'm talking about. after the palate experiences in bremerhaven and worpswede, we let it go on the festive days a little more slackened. instead of Christmas “Fresskapaden”, were swung in the Fritz-Piaskowski-Hallenbad Bremen-Vegesack. Moreover, extended deichspaziergänge along the wümme Oberneuland provided plenty of fresh air around the nase. If you read through the popular portals, the restaurant hermes with lobeshymnen is just spilled over. some can even choose in the Olympic Greek grill art. but it was necessary. the gyrosologe of my trust at gg known under the cover name “Hanseat1957” had not even included the Souvlaki shed in its hit list. I was quite curious if it could be loaded with prestigious kulttavernen olympia and poseidon in landau or sto castello in candel. the domizil of the culinary divine messenger is located in the August-Bebel-Allee. a small walk led us virtually “Vahr away” in the northern part of the city treated so deeply by sven regenerer. in the new vahr north live at not even a square kilometers approx. 8000 people. many high houses, but also a lot of green around the scenery of the wild bremer east. it also did not surprise me that the controlled lightening temple presented itself from its outer appearance as an imitation-free-functional being. for to bring it to the point: the white overlined clinker construction with the inscription “Hermes” did not seem particularly inviting from the outside. a few stretched sun umbrellas defied the cold season. Otherwise, the terrace area in front of it was understandably completely empty. with mixed feelings I entered our evening bread, but then was surprised by the design of the spacious dining room positiw. we had of course reserved, because in the hermes it seems to be quite narrow at “normal” days. so full was the load on christmas. our table, framed by two comfortably upholstered benches, and shielded by wooden cutting elements made of dark painted wood, would have been optimal for four people. However, as we moved to fifth, an additional chair had to be repaired at the table. however, it was in the middle of the passage that was frequented by service staff and other guests. not a particularly comfortable place for the semi-seated bremer edelmann. a change of place was necessary. nice that the young manhood of edi lühring, the managing director of the restaurant, was so flexible this evening and offered us an old navigable place despite the cramped situation. with our new, in the immediate position to the theke, were all satisfied and we were able to devote ourselves entirely to the reading of the diner cards. my view was swept through the “underwood” of the interior. she reminded me of the restaurant sparta visited in the summer of 2017 in the lesum district, my bremer favorit in gyros, tzatziki and co. because the dizzying all over the Hellas-Kitsch, which one still today in the form of wall paintings usually had any gods who had completed their doctorate in the genus and last areas... , efeuranken how often have guests misinterpreted these sheets as part of their supplemental salad... Adonis figures that man or woman knows what Greek food can lead in an extreme case... and Pappmaché columns “all sooo beautifully decorated here”... in so many of the old-eating grilled meats hit the room in the positive sense “saving”. actually quite cozy here, so the close conclusion that I had stolen in the circle of the family. despite the great urge, the loudness in the inner pleasing remained within limits. the idea of equipping the dining room with a lot of wood beams and cutting elements led to a quite cozy atmosphere. from presented – we found it quite pleasant in the appearance of the pendant lamp covered by basket mesh, especially since the wooden self-protection stood in the service of our seat niche. Christmas were rewarded here in the form of a small selection at festival recommendations. saganaki baked sheep cheese with honey and sesame, with feta filled paprika florinis filled spitzpaprika , duck breast with potato crusts and red cabbage jaja, the German horns... as well as a washy moussaka managed to make it on the Christmas card that had not yet been parakezed with sweet apple cimt pannacotta and the south so far, so unusual. at least from the first die impression. the standard repertoire, which is embedded in leather optics hardcover, was printed on the usual insert sheets and read more like the selection at the Otto-Normal-Hellenen around the corner. Mixed plates with all that the meatsian likes, various gyros variants, a few lamb meat dishes from the baked oven, an oversightable pre-fishing program everything is quite inconspicuous and quite comparable with the amounts from the Palatinate province. a bottle of the clearly overrated mineral water of the branded rolsteiner amounted to quite sporty 5,50 euro. the köstritzer kellerbier 0.3 l floss for 3,20 euro from the barrel into the glass, while my mixed from bitburger pils and lemon sprudel beat 0.4 l with 3,90 euro to be booked. “A bad beer doesn’t make a good cyclist!” we say, a philosophy that once again proved to be true. I had the impression that at the drinks prices you had to go a little more vigorously than at eating. we ordered the peperonipfanne 5.80 euro to agree. from the quantity were the shots fried in garlic oil ideal for sharing. I initially missed some of the dark red spots that arise when grilling over wood charcoal. but the green paprika plants had such a well balanced sharpness that they were raised over all preparation doubts. also the mistake was not made here to bury them under fried or grilled garlic pieces. a start to measure, which further increased our joy at the main courses. the two younger women on the table shared the vegetarian appetizer board for two persons 16,90 euro, who had a name for my surprise. “Paul’s starter plate” combined a large selection of filled, panned, fried and baked mezedes. large white beans gigantes, panted fetakäse saganaki, panned aubergines and zucchini, filled wein leaves, with cheese and spinat filled leafy bags teropetkia and again two hands full roasted peperoni lay flanked by two proud hills from tzatziki and fetakäsecrème. not enough, one ordered an additional teller with fried champignons 2,40 euro. the not exactly low calorie Veggie plate was from my own a classic panade example for insane meat-dirt while creeping. but good, some eat also at the italian jägerschnitzel. it has tasted the two part-time vegetarians, even though their fat digestion gave me this evening. next to the meatless frittier landscape, a large mixed salat 7,50 euro was ordered by moussaka from Christmas card 15,90 euro and to honor the last, sprinkled carnivores on the table the Athen plate 14,50 euro. a herb salad was included. for a small obolus of 0.80 euro a small mixed supplemental salad was made from it. an additional small cheese sauce the obligatory, heated pre-hollandaise was calculated with 1 euro extra. on the capital cellar were a juicy souvlaki shoot, a well seasoned chopsteak of beautiful merber resistance, a slightly too greasy lamb chop no crown meat, a pity! as well as a freshly cut crispy gyroshügel. as a supplement, I had decided for the bratkartoffel chips from the fritteuse. together with a neat celle from homemade tzatziki, this was a quite convincing argument against the late Christmas starving. except for the lamb chop, this was a very successful grill plate that left nothing to be desired with regard to juice and spice. the meat presented itself in a professional manner. marinieren goes well known about studying. in the hermes kitchen, they apparently knew how to roast the grilladen professionally. the “Bratkartoffeln” became a decent TK-good and did not fall excessively fat. the Greek yogurt cucumber pamp tasted fresh and not exaggerated after garlic. also the supplement salad knew to please with fresh ingredients. the price for the quality offered was unanimous. similar satisfaction was expressed at the table over the mighty Moussaka-Tafelberg, where not bechamel sauce and gratinkäse was saved. satisfied and well saturated, the divine messenger sent us back from the new vahr north to the bremer night. the small digestion walk did well and supported the digestiw acting ouzo to the house we got donated. we agreed quickly: a recommended address more in the bremer gastrodschungel and definitiw a repetition value."

I was in HERMES restaurant twice . For the first time I thought that i was there by mistake coz in the first view it looks like a normal restaurant , but , when I entered I sow a very beautiful place. I was amazed by the decoration of it , and I was amazed by the service and the delicious food. I found myself in a very peaceful and wonderful place and hearing very good music. In my opinion that is a very rare thing and you can spend your life looking for one and it wouldn't be a wasted life!

Super friendly staff, we had the Saganaki as an appetizer, the lamb chops and the lamb fillet as a main dish and by the way the bread. The appetizer was delicious! Rarely ate such a delicious Saganaki. The lamb was tastefully fabulous and brought to the point. The operation had even asked for the cooking stage before. The Pommes were great! Not too dry and nice crispy. The Tzaziki could have had a little more pepp, but was very tasty overall. The lamb chops were good taste, sometimes a lot of cartilage was on. The price performance is absolutely right here! Good food at a fair price. A relaxed ambience and the great service complete the offer. We'll be back. View menu

On a rainy Sunday night in September me and my hub were looking for a place to eat. Found the address randomly from a hotelbook and had a nice walk. The outside of the restaurant didn't promise much but as we stepped in we saw that the interior had been decorated beautifully in rustic Greek style with fishnets, lanterns etc. Traditional Greek music played quietly in the background. Delicious food, Saganaki to die for, generous portions and the busy but friendly staff was the highlight of my holiday foodvise. Anyone looking their way from downtown: take the bus 24 to the direction of Neue-Vahr-Nord, it takes you there in 15 min. My hub had his first Greek meal that day (apart from my poor exc...

"by a good license of a very well-known good-schein portal with g I came to a great tipp. the muchos más is located in bremen am wall, a really excellent address. some steps lead to the entrance behind which the gas space is located. a large room with a dressing room, furnished more simply with wood and benches as well as a bar. I didn't know about it and not the principle. after the publication of my printed goodwill, the young woman explained how it is. we were montaditos, tapas and tablas, so we only had to decide on some things. small, narrow rollers, such as baguettes with sauces and different layers, may be mentioned first. the way forward: the taste totally delicious. tapas is now also in Germany, I think small things that you can drink. tablas, small pills with cheese or ham, we chose cheese and got somego and other types of finest. to all the little things there were still fresh broth and a bath and we were at the end really puppet-of because: small dinge. of course they order Spanish wine to make it a taste for cerveza. how are you? they are looking for a place, order them drink, at the table there are the lists with the delicious and a culinary, they tick on, they pay and wait until they namentlcih, they pick up their ordered items. we had to run three times, but not practiced in the jongling. we really found this great. everything was super-lecker and if the seats were more comfortable, we would surely sit there and sleep there today. we were from 16.00 to 17.30 and there it was quiet."

Q1 Metropolitan Kitchen & Bar

Q1 Metropolitan Kitchen & Bar

"in general: in the “Q1 metropolitan kitchen bar” expect a “most popular dishes from the trendy new yorker town parts little italy and Soho”. “The offer is rounded off by the best prime beef steaks from the lavasteingrill.” now I don’t count to those who follow trends and read the reading of the q1 with an “Aha” schnarch and no “Oha” inspiring. But for a once again pleasing evening with good friends and the claim to find a restaurant beyond grieche, italian co., I stayed hanging after more thorough research at q1. interieur, map and interieur. after the visit I can add that the service and the atmosphere are also appealing. a complete address for the brewer's inner city and well suited for a classic "going out", the q1 is also waiting with a bar service that can prepare or complete the culinary process. the price level is raised but not yet lifted. a fuffi should be put in per head if you want to stay a little longer in q1 and are to be starved and thirst properly defeated. I would like to rate this with 3.75 stars, also the investment due consideration. with a map that also offers burger and pizza, the q1 speaks a broad audience, as we could notice. in the observation period from 18 to 21 clock, the q1 was fully occupied. I had personally looked by for the reservation with a multi-week run and expressed a wish for a table. he was not promised “we are not doing in principle” but fulfilled. the q1 belongs to the quartet riva, quai, deck 20, q1. service: in q1 you are placed. for this you have to wait brav at the stehpult after the entrance. a young lady with tie led one to the table. the casting for the selection of service forces produces more petty young women. the view shows sneakers, then a little bare cuff, tight jeans – the usual street uniform, a small apron, white blouses and black pants straps. that makes a pleasing impression and the young ladies are self-confident, open in the speech and give fun to the work. they also manage their duty safely and in a gas-torientated manner. so it was asked for the appetizers and a certain waiting period whether the main courses would be allowed. However, they were already waiting in the kitchen pass, because hardly any of us had agreed they were plotted. the drinks did not come excessively flotted, but after acceptable time; a water had been in obscurity. the spatula card has been advertised and especially the lemongrass soup is recommended as a personal favorite of our servant. I like to give four stars. as it belongs to a bar, there is a plentiful drink offer. two beer jever and radeberger are tapped and can be nailed for 0.2 l with proud 2.10 €. a bottle water 0.75 l comes to 5,90 € and the 11 open weine are in the band width from 4,90 € to 8,00 €. In addition, there are crossed through the cultivation areas of this earth 36 bottle wines, mostly in the moderate price range between 20 and 30 €. our pinot grigio rosé 5,50 € first cold and second not from the fashionable fertility of today's rosés, which are mostly sweetened. but with the Italian “Starters”, burgers, steaks, also from the ripening cabinet, pasta, pizza, currys and flammkuchen you can use current trends and almost all tastes. the midday and evening tickets are available on the homepage, but not the extensive drink card or the seasonal offers, such as currently sparing dishes. we chose italian carpaccio 13,50 €, bruschetta 7,90 €, twice soho wasabi tuna salat, original according to card: “Babyleafs oliveat with green austerity and radishes in wasabi vinaigrette with avocado and short roasted yellow tuna in sesame coat” and for all a flaky tart oil is given 12,50 €. from the good salt and pepper mills it is possible to season its oil. since the oil had a mild, fruity note, this went into order, although this olive oil salt dip has now a fairly bart. the broth Basket was counted and was not replaced to the appetizers, which then looks greedy. all the appetizers were successful. the bruschetta well equipped with strong flavor carriers balsamicocreme, parmesanspäne, pesto ; with three small pieces for 7,90 € but barely priced. not only an optical hingucker the carpaccio, but also from the meat quality convincing angus and with 13.50 € not to be challenged in a cross-comparison. also the thunfish, practically cut open, pleased. the salat made nice. disappointing for me the elongate klacks washabicreme, which was without any wumm. classic flame cake with crème fraîche, speck and tweebeln, which socialized all. superfluously, however, the rough, which otherwise almost all the plates cried. on the pizza rucola e serrano 13,50 € she was of course. beautiful bubbles at the edge of the pizza gave the classic floor a little volume and the lob of the esser says that in q1 you also understand to bake pizza. for the “in spicy bbq sauce on grilled maize, coleslaw and ofenkartoffel with sour cream”, €18.90 was desired to give the bbq sauce separately, which was followed in a peel also brav. the bones to pull out, as it must be and a praise for the whole work with several players. my constant companion let himself be brought from the spa gel card the spagelravioli €15.90 . Now we thought that the cook had filled the teig bags with the spa gel. but sections of green and white asparagus and ravioli were found as soloists on the teller, as well as several slices of bearded cooking ham, tomato and field salad as well as the unavoidable rough. overall a successful interpretation around economical and sink, as I could remove the rest. Of course, I would not have liked to exchange €21.50 with my pink fried lambs on ratatouille, creamy potato gratin and rosmarinjus. here all ingredients convinced: several slices of delicate lambs on crumb ratatouille vegetables with light bite and a remarkably tasty kartoffel gratin. also the size of the portion well acceptable. the always important spicy handwriting for me has the kitchen of q1, once you leave the wash cream as a slipper outside. we have eaten everything in all tasty, without great aha experiences. ambiente: on the homepage there is a picture gallery, also especially of the rebuild. the pictures of the rebuild show that the restaurant was completely rebuilt. it is located in a very central location, but not on the main routes of the city. the name also follows a mode, because q1 obviously stands for the street address queerenstraße 1 4. from the outside you can see that the ground floor is waiting in the storehouse with very high ceilings, so that there is a lot of room for the interior architects. under the deck two multi-armed lights with yellow lampshades form the hinguckers. They are complemented by ceiling spots and wall lights on the inside, which adds to a sufficient illumination of the restaurant. pleasant also the acoustic. neither is a trendy musical taste tailored like e.g. b. in the bullerei in hamburg, there is still a noise level against which one has to address at one's own table. the colour of the möblierung and the areas is beige brown. the flooring is probably real halls. the deko is limited to framed photos, graphics and round mirrors. for semi-high verfelungen care on old trimmed bretter. the bar area is well separated from the actual restaurant and has to offer a cuddly corner with sofas for cumin besides bar stools on long tresen. the actual restaurant is elongated. is best seated on the foursomes on the inside, standing on a podium and being rigidly arranged with the benches. here the tables are sufficiently dimensioned and you have a good overview. “The bottom” is clearly narrower than the photos suggest on the homepage. for our table 93 and the ambiente 4.5 star. was not surprising that the herrentoilette is also designed. you look at red mosaic tiles in the standing orientation, stand on black sloping floor and also the walls and doors are held in black. led radiators provide sufficient light in horizontal alignment, so that no darkroom jamming occurs. functionality and cleanliness also agree. cleanliness: nothing to complain."
