"Prenotato per le arrivati alle troppo presto prego tornare tra mezz'ora almeno, devo avere il tempo di preparare. Questa è stata l'accoglienza del patron. Volevamo stare fuori all'aria aperta, ma di nuovo il sig. Gianluca ha deciso che era meglio dentro perchè poteva piovere. Locale piccolo, pulito e strarredato. Ottima la pasta fatta in casa (sempre da lui) tringozzi alla gricia (guai a dire che sono come i pici toscani! Buono anche l'antipasto di terra con salumi e formaggie due ciotoline una di fagioli cannellini e l'altra di verdura cotta Vino sfuso. Conto assolutamente irrisorio. Che dire: prendere il patron così com'è. Ah, nel frattempo sono arrivati quattro ragazzi che volevano mangiare fuori e anche a loro è stato praticamente proibito o dentro o niente"

"Arrivata con un'amica in una giornata piovosa e ci siamo rinchiuse dentro per ore a mangiare. Antipasto misto salumi formaggi bruschette veramente buono con specialità del posto. Abbondante per due andato benissimo. Come secondo piatto ho preso il pollo alle olive taggiasche...uno dei migliori mangiati. Cucinato con gusto e saporito come lo faceva mia nonna. Ho fatto fatica a finirlo ma non l ho voluto lasciare nel piatto per quanto buono dolce anche buono fatto in casa. Insomma...ci ritornerò a breve in primavera. Complimenti alla cuoca Assolutamente consigliato per chi va a trovare Calcata ma anche per chi vuole mangiare bene"

"the black dairy of the cat is a typical and very special restaurant located in a small town perched on a rock spur. despite the local is not very large is very well cared for in detail. with its covered in white and red squares and everywhere cats: cloth, plush, headdress, pillow drawings and hanging on the walls numerous paintings with portraits of cats of all kinds. I mean, cats are mastering it. the place is cozy, as are the managers and the kitchen is great. "calcata was busy on Sunday afternoon. il borgo takes a good position, but this is the only good thing I can say. we waited minutes to sit until an empty table is cleaned. no menu given, got waiter after minutes, he said. the menu and we ordered. we waited minutes, didn't bring water or broth until we asked a few times. we had a little child with us, so it was long to eat. Finally we got our cold antipasto that we had asked for people, it was pitiful. minutes for a cold antipasto is crazy. after minutes the waiter asked us what we ordered, (he had written it down) then after another excessive waiting we saw others diner who had come to serve. they also brought food for diners who had gone because they had waited too long. we gave up, left euro for the sad antipasto and half a glass wein. lady in the kitchen and waiter seemed underoccupied, but the waiters had no notice, they left tables unclear for the old, the half eaten plates of pasta made me glad that we was no longer wasting time when it was not possible. they were completely unorganized and one was rude when we said we were going. a table came behind us after we had made it, one got its pasta minutes after the other, also not acceptable. I have rarely left reviews, but I was so frustrated with the bad service. Unfortunately in calcata this is not a mobile signal and so we could not check tripadvisor before selecting a restaurant. we eat a slice of pizza in the piazza. a much better choice, they avoid when they want to eat. We might have served at dinner, but after the hours we had enough."
