I visited this restaurant twice and the food and service was very good. An interesting setting right around the corner from my B&B.

a haven of peace on the terrace. copied plates and cooked with pleasure. and eaten with pleasure, too! quality/price ratio very well.

only restaurant open on three this Thursday, June 22nd? pleasant setting, small shaded and fresh terrace, appreciated with warmth and after the visit of the castle. medium but good service and good cuisine.

In the village at the foot of the extroadinary last Cathar stronghold Montségur, Hotel Costes welcomes pilgrims and visitors with excellent vin rosé and well cooked very tasty dishes, including vegetarian and vegan choices. Try the mixed pepper cutlets, the huge salads and home cooked...(excellent) French fries. The new owner from Bordeaux has breathed new life into this restaurant, respectful of the Cathar traditions. His depiction of the Cathar prayer is a photo I have on my phone to read often.

we arrived in this charming village of Montségur in search of a good table. passing in the afternoon to ask for hours of service the boss seemed unpleasant but the pretty terrace still pushed us to come to dinner here. The welcome was not very warm and courteous (the boss made us wait to take the order. He's the chief who came to put the cover and take the order. )However the dishes were good and hearty, the quality wine and we spent a pleasant moment in love. The nice dog eliot came to keep us company with his dog-swept.

After tripping up to the castle in my flip flop sandals (walking shoes at the front door of the house didn't make it to the car) I desperately needed a victory lunch and found this lovely haven. The service was a bit dodgy ...eye contact hard to get with the busy waitress. Half of the dishes on the menu were sold out, leaving not much choice. However, when we did get our food it was delicious, fresh and copious. Lovely setting and would certainly recommend this place just don't be in a hurry and let yourself de stress.....

I have to say the service is very kind. After 2 o'clock in the afternoon it is complicated to find open kitchens in many villages of francia. restaurants like à la patate que fume told us that we were not served the meal for the hour. We arrived at this restaurant almost by chance and very hungry. They told us they had no gas, but that was no inconvenience to get us eaten after 14:00. We ate a goat cheese salad, roasted camembert cheese and roasted chicken. they put us a red wine of the house quite good and after dessert, crème brulée and mousse of chocolate. On Thursday for lunch. Despite only another couple, it seemed to be a problem that we chose a table in the shade. After we ordered food and served drinks, we were informed that they did not accept cards only cash or cheques.... We only had enough money to buy a child meal for my son who seemed to annoy the cook (which we assumed was the owner. There was another family that faced the same issue.
